I think his ego has a lot to do with our lack of activity in free agency. The market moves fast and he’s uncomfortable with that and he feels like he’ll lose by moving so quickly. If he can’t move at his pace, then he’s out.
Well, he's right about one thing, at least.

He went beyond whining. He called it a “major problem in the NFL.”

Where? For who? The owners make money by the boatloads and most of it is guaranteed.

How could anything be a “major problem” when no one else is on record even mentioning it?
And it is also rich coming from a guy who has the most profitable sports franchise in sports.

Shut the hell up Jerry. All you do now when you open your mouth to talk about coaching or FA is show just how freaking cheap you've become.

You fraud.

I was watching this video with Jane, Voch, and Broaddus and around 17:30 Jane makes some very interesting comments about how cheap Jerry is when it comes to paying coaches, how much he undermines and doesn't really value his head coach. Apparently the word is out around the league amongst coaches as to how cheap Jerry really is. Man, I went from loving Jerry for many years to hating his guts the past half decade. I hate him for how much he's made me hate him. It's also clear he's really a terrible negotiator and gets fleeced in every deal, as they also touch on in this discussion.

He does not value Coaches, GM's, or the trenches.

What does he value???

I agree, he is a cheap owner, although it's been well known for years. We're lucky he doesn't install himself as the coach, just to save a dime. He is so cheap that when he dies, he'll probably walk toward the light and switch the light off.

As soon as he let Quinn leave I knew our season was doomed. The players love playing for Quinn. He even took Witt with him to Washington. Which they should have promoted. Zimmer is old and he's overrated. Time to just clean house. Time to get rid of all the players and start over. And time to tell Jerry to call it quits.

When you are the most valuable franchise in sports, the most profitable in sports, soiling yourself over the cost of coaches is laughable.

But we see how cheap they are in FA, why would it be any different for coaches?
Team is cap broke.

because of the contracts given to Dak, CD, Martin, And DLaw.

they have 25M in free cap, which they need to rollover into 2025.

next season is even worse.

it’s not about being cheap.

We are successful in the area that matters most to the joneses.
Jerry likely wanted to give Big Mike a chance to turn it around.

i believe the slide started last season with the Bills game.

its a black on the team to fire a coach midseason.

even though it should be done.

Coaches dont even count against the cap. So its really based solely on Jerry thinking the HC position doesnt matter.

And in Dallas. It really doesnt.
The hc position doesn’t matter as you said. Jerry is our hc but he doesn’t have the courage to put the whistle on and stand on the sidelines. I think the nfl should allow the “challenge flag bazooka” so Jerry can challenge a call from his alcohol soaked owners box.

He’ll fumble the hire, but sell that turd with a nice fresh coat of polish and it’ll be like this disaster of a season never happened.

Metamucil will help Jerry with that.

He just wants cameras in his face.

Making controversial decisions is how he does it, even at the detriment of his football team.

Make Money and Getting Cameras In My Face are his main objective. You dont have to be a genius GM to satisfy those objectives. In fact, being a bad GM is probably better for attracting cameras.
yes that is the attention he loves the most.
After games he positions himself outside the locker room, and they have to interview him before he will let them in locker room.
They should delay for 30 minutes, and maybe he gets tired and leaves.

He paid Dak because though.., also paid Garrett.. paid Tank, our favorite LB Jaylon Smith… McCarthy got like 5 million a year I think

they all sucked and didn’t deserve what he gave them..
someone else said mm is 4 mil a year lol, and I assumed he was getting 6 mil a year since that is what JG was getting.
I wonder if anyone really knows.
Is tanking his revenge on mike?? Or does mike know and gets a bonus for doing the tanking??
Mike seems awful happy in some of the PC's after losing.
