Don’t forget the fact that Rod and Richard have been fighting as well too. Even players have taken sides on Rod’s philosophy vs Richard’s (D-Law and Jaylon are Pro-Richard). This locker room is a mess. No one can say otherwise because sources have confirmed it.

I don’t doubt that is true for a second but it just didn’t show on the field to me in such an obvious fashion like the obvious change in offensive philosophy and scheme did.

Players/coaches in the middle that probably do "want it" but are not strong vocal leaders will get "depressed" when the morale is low.

I've worked at companies where the morale was low and that can only be rectified by management.

You can’t compare your experience at Whataburger to an NFL team.

We talked about this before, smh.

If they need more talent, so do all the other teams in the playoffs.

The issue is culture. The issue is being a smart organization that is committed to winning football games instead of being "relevant" and being the top "brand" in the league.

No team assembles talent enough to overwhelm everyone. That has been Garrett's struggle all along.
True. I’m sick of this ******* franchise.

He is not Steinbrenner.

He's Al Davis. The crazy version with the jumpsuit.
He might be both—the “core four” Yankees dynasty wasn’t built till George was banned, leaving an actual baseball guy to run things.

Slater on the radio:

- Also mentioned serious friction between the coaches throughout the season. She didn't feel comfortable going into details until the season ends.
.

Per ESPN Jean Jacque's " Whispers from the Star " segment, LB coach Ben Bloom has been the center of friction
that had him absence for the week, though it was camoflagued as flu-related. Kris Richard and Bloom dont see eye to eye
and Richard wanted to bring in his own LB coach but he was denied that. That could be just the starters..
As much as they supposedly "valued' Richard to bring him in, they wont let him operate how he prefers.

Our linebackers have sucked.

Makes sense.

Ben Bloom (along with Keith O'Quinn) have been here since Day 1 with Garrett. They are his moles so they weren't going anywhere.

I'm getting the sense this is not going to be a quick fix for the next coach. He's going to need to destroy and rebuild the culture here which is going to take a couple of years.
More than likely, if at all.

After this game, all hell will break loose. Prepare yourselves guys. We’re in for a ride...

All is lollipops and rainbows Jerry's world of delusions. Garrett is extended because it's not his fault the Giants couldn't beat Philly.

- people keep going off that title but the team would have not pursued Richard if they did not plan a bigger and significant role
for him here. He calls the defensive signals not Marinelli, when they gather the entire D" unit over for a pep rally its' not Marinelli it's Richard.
Kris handles the back seven ...while Marinelli handles the DL front four and run schemes.

- Its a reason why Cowboys wanted to mimic the Seahawks style of defense, and bought into his big CB preferences and motivational skills.
Now if they still believe that highly in Richard at this point is a totally different question now.

- But his back seven hasnt responded the way it needs to be as they remain underchieving and very non disciplined as teams successfully use screen pass
on us with such ease game after game, and where was the lack of turnovers . Byron Jones conversion has been biggest credit.

- though i'm not impressed with his blitzing designs,(which is rumored reason why he was fired by Carroll) i do wonder what what Richard could have achieved if he was not handcuffed by coaches that have hampered him ,(ala Marinelli and Bloom) as well as forced to play with DBs that were already
here before he arrived.
