Jared Goff - Good God NO!

I went and did my arm chair scouting of him and granted I'm not couchscout or xwalker or any of those guys but my opinion of him is horrible. He literally sux! In the 5 games I watched he threw and completed only 1 pass of over 30 yards. He is literally check down charlie. His accuracy is horrible, constantly missing open receivers and his pocket awareness is non existent. Wow... just wow! I have absolutely NO idea what people are seeing that are clamoring for him. Just my $.02.

I just don't see big upside with him.

He's a Sam Bradford / Matt Barkley kind of QB imo.

He'll have to be a wizard mentally to ever be a bigtime NFL player imo.


At best I think he'll just be good but I don't see superstar potential and he is not someone i'd invest in.


Wentz is the high upside guy. He's the guy that is the homerun imo.

some of those things were said about Aaron Rodgers.they said he was maxed out,not a good athlete as ALEx smith.They also thought he was intelligent(just like Goff who is said to be a student of the game).I see a lot of similarities between the alex smith -Rodgers draft and Wentz-Goff draft.are you going to go with the physical characteristics or Talent?

Rodgers is super talented. There is no real physical weakness. Wentz shares a lot of the same physical traits that Rodgers has.

Either way.. I think Wentz edges Goff on "talent" as well.

oh cmon,the best 2 best offenses in the league is with 2 great QBs running mostly Shotgun .

Good point. Also, I would have loved to have gotten Mariotta and he ran nothing but spread/option in college.

Unfortunately he looked great that game.

You obviously didn't watch his last game against AIr Force.

He literally was almost perfect and made every throw.
