I don't think any qbs throw that much over 30 yards that often.

I think NFL teams generally average between 8-15 completions over 40 yards. I had a page with all the passing metrics on it that showed Dallas' propensity to go downfield, but I can find it now. I believe in 2014 they were third with 8 completions over 40 yards, but they were somewhere in the middle of the pack with I believe 20 something completions 20+ yards.

As I said to someone else ... %65 of 5-10 yard passes isn't anything to brag about and although not every qb throws 30 yarders all the time.. you have to be able to hit them when they are available and he missed ALOT!

You couldn't be more wrong in your assessment. You don't throw for 43 TD's & only 13 INT (many of which weren't his fault) on 65% completion percentage with "horrible accuracy." All behind a lackluster O-Line, no less. He has the best accuracy/ball-placement, as well as the best anticipation, of any QB in this draft. He throws the best deep ball of any QB in this class. Good size at 6'4 214 lbs and will get bigger. Strong enough arm to make all the throws. Seems to be a football junkie with a good head on his shoulders from everything I've read. He's not a sure-fire franchise QB, but neither is anybody else in this draft. He's the best of the bunch, and that is why he will likely go #2 to Cleveland.

You couldn't be more wrong. His deep ball is horrible compared to Wentz and even worse to Lynch. I'm not a Wentz proponent by any means but if you're going to hold his competition against him then please tell me who Goff played thats such a powerhouse??

Right, we will have Tony in a sling, Johnny F getting beers from fans in the stands drunk on the bench, or he will spike the gatorade. and RG knee will be nursing that knee. And will have to bring an off the street FA yet again...

Lol okay dude. The #1 weakness on Wentz's scouting report is his inconsistency on his deep ball. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

Many poeple think there isn't a QB worthy of being taken in the top 10 this year.

That is the case for every year but teams always do IT
