Well, the sack total is somewhat of an unfair gauge as he was forced to play a different position. But, I agree with your point that he isn't being brought in as a starter, but rather as direly needed young, experienced depth.

And why exactly are you complaining when free agency hasn't even started yet??? You make it sound like OLine is the only place where we have issues. We are shifting to a 4-3, so of course they are going to be looking for solid depth. FYI, the reason we can bring in this guy is that he is currently a free agent, which isn't the case with many of the guard/tackle starting prospects.

There aren't many guards and tackles that weren't signed at the end of the league year who would be worth coming in to workout.

cowboys just kicking the tires. he was a total bust. 6 sacks in 5 years and couldn't play against the run..... he sucked.

Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that Moss, the 17th overall pick in the 2007 draft, will work out for the Cowboys.

Moss was out of football in 2012. In the five prior years, he was barely in.
He has two career starts — one with the Broncos as a rookie and one with the Raiders in 2011. The good news is that Moss mustered six career sacks, which is exactly six more than 2008 top-ten bust Vernon Gholston.
