All QB's struggle. He just had an awesome running game to protect him when they won those games. I know one thing, everytime he plays against us, we make him look like an All Pro.

He really struggled today. I haven't seen much improvement from him over the course of the year which is the most worrying part. Still, I believe he is our long-term QB - I'm just glad we didn't give him a huge extension after the first eight games.

Great!

I hope that all Skins fans think that QCampbell is your long term QB. I hope you lock him up to like a 7 year contract.

I'd hate for y'all to give up on him and get a real, legit franchise QB like Tony Romo.

He has struggled as the running game has struggled. This is nothing new, this year, in the games he doesn't play well it's almost always assured that you can look at the stats for Portis and see that the defense keyed on him and that took away the really important part of the Skins offense.

Teams have begun to figure out Zorn's offense and without Portis getting 120+ in a game they're simply exploiting that fact and forcing Campbell into his bad habits of locking onto recievers, holding the ball too long, and getting antsy.

Well he didn't play all that well against us three weeks ago. He has regressed the last few weeks.

I'm not sure that locking on to receivers is the problem anymore. Zorn mentioned after the Seahawks game that Campbell had moved through his progressions too quickly and given up on the first option too soon. He does get very antsy in the pocket now though, and seems to run in to pressure too often rather than avoid it.

You know one major factor? Romo had all the weapons in place when he took the reigns. The Commanders are building around Campbell, and that doesn't happen overnight.

speaking of Extreme Skins and Commander fans

I wonder if some of them still think that Cooley and Fred Davis are the best TE tandem in the league, or that their Oline is still top 5

Laron Landry gets a lucky INT, but where the hell has he been all year? he's fast, and he can hit, but that's about it, Sean Taylor light

I hope they are building around QCampbell. I would love for them to do that! Commit long term!!!!

(Incidentally, you do realize that Romo would be better behind your O-line and your WRs than QCampbell would be and that QCampbell would be worse on our team than Romo is.

You realize that, right?

You realize you have an inferior QB... right? Tell me you can spot the obvious!)

our offense sucked w/o Romo

face it, Romo is light-years ahead of Jason Campbell, no if's and's or but's

I can spot the obvious. I can see from this and other posts of yours that you have and always will think that anything non-Cowboys is inferior, no matter what. It's ok, you can live in your fantasy world, I don't mind.

At least wait and see if you make the postseason, or see if your choke artist QB can actually win a game that matters before you talk hollow trash talk

I think Campbell's problem is that the coaches let the fact that he's intellectually stupid get in the way of letting him play up to his potential. They have only unleashed him a few times in his career, and he played great when they did. Even with that, they still feel the need to keep him on a short leash and distrust him to make great decisions on the field, even though he proves them wrong every time they let him.

Maybe he is an idiot, but maybe he really just does have the brains for a great QB. A lot of people are only good at one thing, look how he played at Auburn with no restraints. It makes a lot of difference when you have a coach that calls for a run 60% of the time, or an o-line that gives you a half step of protection.

At least he has the balls to play football and not be a sissy QB like most are. He never slides, and went in head first as the lead blocker to set up the TD run for the Skins today. Romo would cower at the thought.

They really are. I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. It's not like he's been horrible this season. He just needs an Oline.

Refresh my memory, what's the Skins' record when Campbell throws the ball 30 or more times??

Campbell is nothing more than a pedestrian QB destined to be a career backup. To compare him to Romo is absolutely idiotic. Romo has the ability to carry a team whereas the team has to carry JC. Without Portis, he's horrible. With him, he's average.

In regards to playmakers around him, weren't all these foreskin fans saying that they had better skill players and a better oline than we did? I recall that Portis is better than Barber (I agree), Moss, ARE, Thomas, Kelly were better than TO and the gang, that Cooley was as good as Witten and as a whole their TE's were better. So don't give us this Romo had the talent around him already deal. Face it, put Romo on the Skins team and their light years better.

As for Landry, where has that guy been? I generally watch all NFCE games, I can't recall Landry making a big play in any game. I'm beginning to be thankful that we didn't have the opportunity to draft that guy and I was one that wanted him. The light might come on just yet, but lets revisit this after next season.
