Yes lashing and internal incarceration. He should be chained to the wall in the locker room at the Star and fed nothing but gruel for the rest of the week.
Or they can fine him whatever. lol
That sounds about right. lol

Saw on twitter dez tried avoiding the MRI because he thought it was more significant and doesn't want to sit out.

News conference is on NFLN right now. A whole lot of tap dancing by Garrett.

I seriously wonder how folks parent their kids. Because it's the same concept. You can lay the foundation. Set expectations. And they will still ***** it up. So what do you do? Do you go 0-10 or do you discipline by levels.
Dez is a kid?

IF Dez feared the worst....he must be in serious pain. We should take that into consideration when making a decision to play or sit him.

I don't think any HC is obligated to give media much in terms of details involving players. Cowboys have fined Dez evidently and this is an internal matter.
100% disagree. Booger has made this the local media's access the best in the NFL, not one close to it with their access and his disclosures to them. I am not a media fan but they have the right to know first about the players on the team they cover year round for the team.

This wasn't approved by Booger prior to this happening because no owner has ever been this tight with the local media and it has been a symbiotic relationship and Lady JaGa pooped in the church pew on this one. He made enemies and I can tell you first hand from spending most of my career in the media, they don't forget, they get even. And the ones that were in his corner are already calling him out on his press conference now. Sturm was a benefit of the doubt guy with Lady JaGa and even he's being negative about him.

See, this is what happens when Lady JaGa is allowed to act like the HC. Not let's put that to rest now.

After Garrett broke the Dez news to the San Fran media, here's a look at the DFW media walking into the press conference

I absolutely cannot imagine a world where any fan would care how upset the media is about some access problem. No one in the media has ever contributed one positive thing to the Dallas Cowboys team.

Even according to Dez in his tweet they were waiting on the results of the MRI late Wednesday which also happened to be when Garrett was on conference call with SF media. I really don't care if JJT and the rest of the Dallas media got the news 2nd or 1st.

That is the part that least bothers me, the part that does the most is:

Garrett said Dez Bryant missed an MRI and a treatment on Monday. He missed a team meeting on Tuesday, and he was not at a meeting Wednesday"

Garrett said Dez Bryant didn't handle it the right way. It has been addressed

To me that is all there is to it, everything else is a excuse.

Some want to say it makes no difference just Dez being Dez, nothing to see here, fine have at it. But to me it speaks to accountability to your team and teammates.

I happen to think that is important in a team sport, others can disagree and they are entitled to their opinion.

Maybe they fined him pretty heavily, which would at least be a start.

How do you spell enabling? Oh yes, that way.

C'mon man, Dez is a person first. Can't say I would have reacted any different way to feeling the thing I love the most potentially being taken away from me for the 2nd year in a row. It's not like Dez is partying and doesn't care. He cares too much.

He sure looks like he knows what he's doing thus far this season.....he's outcoached every coach he's faced this year so I guess he's at least the 4th worst coach lol.

They were after Jerry over the size of their cubicles at the Star. And they absolutely do not have that right.

But "17"!

"That story has been an important story for us. It illustrates something we think is so important: accountability. Seventeen inches is about accountability. Accountability to yourself, to your teammates, to the standards we set for our football team." - Jason Garrett

Yeah but let's be honest here. How much "accountability" was there with those 90's Cowboys teams? These aren't children though some may act like it. All you can do is fine a guy and move on. Garrett is his head coach not his master or father.
