I'm desperately trying to curb my enthusiasm.

For me, my enthusiasm was "curbed" when Wade came in. Then I gave it a chance. But he squashed my enthusiasm every time.

he just needs to be himself..i feel like he's trying to be a little more "stern" and "combative" than he really is to try to differentiate himself from Wade.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you but how do we know how he really is?

what's more amazing is how he means business, not going to put up with BS and all that but his offense was constant penalties, dropped passes, receivers not knowing where to line up, running backs not knowing who to block etc. but Wade is gone, all is well. I guess.

He didnt draw up penalties or dropped passes, or WR's not paying attention to detail. I think that will slowly change over time. Cut the fat.

INFINITELY more enjoyable to listen to press conferences, I couldn't even listen to Wade speak for 2 seconds before I had to turn off my radio.

If his "act" gets consistent results he will be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys if there is a next year playing wise. Why is that so hard to accept? It is the only logical course of action.

It just seems a bit strange to see a coordinator who has not been great get promoted to HC. Normally we see top coordinators get opportunities to become HC because of the excellent job they did. I’m sure some will take this as me being opposed to Garrett and that is not exactly true but I find it hard to swallow the accolades he is getting. He has a hell of allot to prove given his lack of effectiveness this season as a coach.

Exactly. I'm not trying to gang up on Garrett but when you get right down to it he has as much blame for what has taken place thus far and seems to be getting a pass for 3 years worth of question marks as an OC. I have no issue with Wade being fired for the job he has done this year but has Garrett did a good job? People talk about players not performing should be benched yet shouldn’t that hold true for Garrett as well?

I think Jerry could have named anyone coach and people would be singing their praises because they aren't Wade.

Well I'm mainly going by what I've seen from him in various interviews over the years as a player and assistant, he seems a lot more laid back and loose in other interviews than he's been so far in his two PC's. If this is how he is that's fine, but I think it's best if he just is himself and doesn't put on an act to try to be the anti-Wade.
