That was the first thing I thought when I heard him talk.

I was like "here's a guy that definitely has a *****."

It was refreshing.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

i know its not good to call out players to the media, but i wish he addressed the mike jenkins question a little more directly.

He's giving him a chance to prove himself to the new head coach with higher expectations.

Well I'm mainly going by what I've seen from him in various interviews over the years as a player and assistant, he seems a lot more laid back and loose in other interviews than he's been so far in his two PC's. If this is how he is that's fine, but I think it's best if he just is himself and doesn't put on an act to try to be the anti-Wade.

I hear ya.

But maybe, just maybe because this is the gig of all gigs, WE ARE SEEING how he really is when hungry and wanting something?

Other times it was different situations.

Lets see, I am only hoping for the best. I dont care about anything else.

I kinda thought the same thing when I heard him deflect, but after thinking about his entire PC he emphasized about moving forward and not worrying about what happened previously.

If it happens again and he is not benched or sent to the locker room than I'd have my second thoughts about Garrett. Besides he didn't call out anyone, when he was asked about the Justin Tuck comment he deflected that one too. I really don't know what it accomplishes by calling out specific players in the media other than to get headlines on SC. Let Garrett address it inhouse where it belongs.

At least he knows who we're playing next week. ;)

I'm a little concerned that he apparently hasn't set his clocks back yet, though...

He said that he sees alot of confusion on the line...if true what the hell is so confusing?

Did protection calls get changed and the linemen are still figuring it out?

Is the twists and stunts by opposing Ds really that hard for the linemen to see and pickup?

Interesting nonetheless...

I like the fact that Garrett is focusing on updating the process: higher tempo, practicing in pads, working earlier, better communication, attention to detail, etc.

We will see how the difference in process affects player execution.

A lot of people have blamed Garrett for the play-calling (including myself), but I would be interested to know how much of the failure fell upon player execution. With Garrett as a head coach implementing his policy, we have one variable not changing - his play calling - but several other variables changing.

I guess we'll see how much of a difference it makes come Sunday.

Isn't it ET in that area? Garrett is right about the time they play there.

Yeah, for those who didn't listen, MacMahon said Tuck told the media in the conference call that the O-line looked confused. So TM asked RJ several times whether that was true, and he refused to address it.

Psst. It was a joke.

Very good observation...it should give everyone a definite answer about who is at fault - players or coach.
