For one Campo can actually coach. Our defense would have been a lot better and he would have let Cally call his own plays from his play book.
He also wouldn't spill out things he's learned from old coaches such as Saban, etc. and then do the exact opposite of what they would do. I'm sure Nick would have loved to smack Jason up side the head in the 2nd half of the GB game!
So you liked our CBs playing 10 yards off and then being taught to react to the WR and not the ball. I think Campo is one of the worst coaches we ever had.
Campo didn't have a Tony Romo. Im pretty sure that equals to 3 more wins by having a top 10 QB.
You guys remember the days when bill parcells was a no good east coast hack robbing Jerry. I mean he went 9-7 two years in a row and didn't win a superbowl. I mean he fixed the entire organization, franchise qb, two running backs, franchise pass rusher, franchise left tackle, good along both lines....young team...
But that guy had to go, he was a conservative no good poor game manager who just hires people from New Jersey. Everyone wanted that guy fired.
Now we debate who is worse Jerry or Garrett and there are a bunch of people who think they are doing a good job and are snakebitten.
Ahh the good ol days. We were watching a guy building a Super Bowl contender and nit picking details because the big picture was taken care of, now the goal is to just win the east and keep the stadium full.
Before we know it, we will be arguing over the next installation of chad Hutchinson and Quincy carter.
Oh man, I forgot about that. No, I don't but they were #1 a lot, and campo has at least coached for 30 years.
I don't think he would have. We are 3 wins a year ahead of what Campo did. I still think Campo was the worst HC we ever had.
I don't think that anyone could argue that Dave Campo couldn't have gotten us 8-8 records with this talent.
Thats sad
Campo's teams played hard. Enough said.
