no. and what does that have anything to do with it. you're the one who kept getting defensive when i kept asking for reasons. you see, i actually like to play and discuss basketball instead of throwing blanket statements around with no arguments.

Dude drop the lemon sucking attitude. A lot of people post their ideas, thoughts and suggestions on what they think or feel about a related subject. Some give extravagant detail on why they think what they think and some just post what they think without getting into every particle of detail.

I posted that I thought the Celtics would not make it all the way due to a Western Conference team beating them this year if they even get that far. In my mind the West is just more dominant in my opinion regardless of what has happened during the regular season. I sure as heck don't have to say anymore than that to you or anyone else.

Because I DID give the reasons quite a few times on what I thought but it wasn't written good enough for you. I have no problem you asking why but I told you why and you still didn't approve.

You're assuming by default that WC teams are better than Boston in the playoffs then arguing that WC teams are better than Boston in the playoffs. That doesn't even make sense as an argument!

it might have been nice if you had initially said WHY you think Boston can't win a playoff series but did win in the regular season.

you later questioned Boston's potential chemistry issues. that was good. but that was after i kept badgering you.

I am not assuming anything. I am basing something in my own opinion by what I have seen in the NBA in the past decade. Western teams have consistently been the ones to beat for quite awhile now. There has not been a solid eastern team save for Detroit and a couple of others that have crept in for a time or two. Boston hasn't played a top rated Western Conference team in the playoffs yet so in other words I would not hold their regular season record as any solid hope for post season success. The point I am making is I do not think Boston would fare well and I also said ad nauseum why.

I also did not come up with Bostons chemistry issues because you badgered me. Nice try.

yes, the West overall is a better conference, but i don't think Boston should be penalized just because they're in that conference. It has shown that despite the overall strength of the conference, the weaker conference can win the finals.

and ever since the lakers dynasty ended, the East and West have alternated championships.

i feel Boston plays amazing defense, gets a lot of points in the paint and assists, and they also have solid role players now (posey, cassell, leon powe, big baby, etc).

If Boston happened to be in the West and happened to have the same record against the West as they do now (22-4), what would you think about them?
