#27/Crayton/6th round pick for #12 and Ginn? Maybe do it on draft day if someone we really like is available at #12 (i.e. Earl Thomas). I think Ogletree can have similar production to Crayton. Ginn would be a good return man and #4 WR.

Miami would laugh at that trade offer and hang up.

Why does everyone wanna get rid of Crayton, he has the best hands on the team.

I don't really think it's a matter of wanting to get rid of him. I just think that the writing is on the wall, so to speak. With the progress of our younger guys, the expectation that Williams will probably improve, Wit, the increased role of both Felix and MartyB and the fact that most everybody believes that we are probably going to draft another WR that can both return and play, the role of Crayton on the team is going to continue to deminish. Soon, we are probably going to be forced to trade him or release him either way IMO. It would be better for the team for him to be traded for a player who can help and Parcells does like Crayton so it just seems like that might be a good fit all the way around.

Really...you disagree THAT much? You actually think as a KR/WR, that Crayton is way better than Ginn? Especially as a KR?
Really?

Crayton did well last yr as a punt returner. He's never really been a kickoff returner.

Ginn's been an utter bust in the NFL. He's an awful WR that his team has completely given up on. Until last yr, he wasnt even a decent kick returner. Crayton made big strides as a punt return guy and has ALWAYS been a very dependable WR, whether it was as the #2, or in his ideal role as a #3.

So yeah, to me the idea is lauighable because Crayton is eons better a player.

And if Ginn had Romo throwing to him you can double his 09 stats as a slot receiver. He was the teams only legit deep threat and was getting doubled most of the time...that wouldn't be the case here.

Freaking hilarious. Nobody doubles Ted Ginn. No defense in the NFL even remotely cares about him. He's a fast guy in a straight line. Runs bad routes and has mediocre hands. Cant go over the middle at all.

Ginn had more drops last year than Roy Williams.

And he managed that in a part time role. Amazing, and we have people here who WANT this guy.

Again its freaking comical. Thank God some of these people dont make decisionsfor this franchise. We'd be doomed to 1-15 every yr.

Ted Ginn is awful people. I could name you on 1 hand the number of big plays he made last season. He had the two kickoff returns against the jets and the long TD over Revis in the monday night game, that's it.

Ginn might be an upgrade over Hurd, but at no point in his career has Ginn ever been better than Crayton. Speed is nice, but it's not everything. Ginn would be a serious downgrade from Crayton.

You make yourself look dumber with each attempt to defend Ginn.

and you're just stupid if you think having Henne throw you the ball makes no difference on the stat sheet or how many drops he has. If he'd have Romo throwing to him in the slot, he'd easily put up better numbers then Crayton. No safety or 3rd corner can stay with him playing off man in the slot. Plus he's one of the best KR in the league.

Your out of your mind. He wasnt any good with any QB throwing him the ball, not just Henne.

You must be related to the guy with the way you are defending him, because he is an awful football player.

You don't think Parcells and Sparano ever considered putting him in the slot?

Maybe it just slipped their minds.

Jeez, why is everyone else's garbage always going to be our gold?

Thats because the qb's throwing him the ball were CLEO LEMONS, John Beck, and Chad Henne. And he still managed to get his best statistical season which was 800 yards, (which might I add is better then any season Craytons had) with Cleon Lemons. So, if he's not any good, I could imagine what you think of Crayton.

BTW, he's on pace for more yards then Crayton is after 6 seasons. Yeah, he's no good.

You ever heard of a guy named Davone Bess? He just happens to be one of the best slot receivers in the NFL. lmao. Yeah, maybe it did slip there heads, or maybe they didn't want to risk the production of one of the better slot receivers? Hm I dont know. What do you think?

He best season was with Chad Pennington not Lemons (you left his name off your quarteback list dispite him starting more games than any of the others mentioned during Ginn's career).

Chad Henne may end up being very good. It's too early to tell. But your point that it was a very young (basically a rookie) Henne throwing to him is valid. But Henne, for example, was better than Sanchez last year in very category ecept his team was not as good.

You're a joke.

BRB blaming all of Ginn's drops on his quarterbacks.

Have you ever seen a Dolphins game?

Romo's completion percentage would dip below 60 if we had Ginn aka Quincy Morgan jr. on this team.
