Jason Pierre Paul "severely" injured hand in fireworks accident?

It's situations like these where my loathing of Twitter comes from. Idiot after idiot posting stuff that isn't true.

Gee. An information source that requires consideration of information source and credibility. Yeah. Blame Twitter, not the twits who fail to think critically

Burns to the hand and fingers can be very serious, especially if it involves the circumference of the fingers. The skin has to be flexible for movement of the hand and fingers, unlike a burn on your body. Scar tissue just isn't flexible. It will depend on how badly he burned the hand and how deeply. Several reports have mentioned possible nerve damage and that entails a severe burn and likely a 3rd degree burn. Being that it is his hand and fingers it could be a serious enough to have a serious effect on his career while not being career ending.

I won't post it here, but feel free to google "fireworks death" image to see Darwin's theories at work.
Don't go there, please, if you have a queasy stomach.

I heard a moron yesterday decided it was a good idea to launch a "professional" fireworks mortar (yeah the 5" balls that go BOOM) off his head. Needless to say, he died.

it would be like me setting of fireworks and hurting mein brain.

Here's wishing him a speedy recovery, love watching he and Smith battle.

Professional grade fireworks? I thought you needed a license to purchase those and set them off?

I'm sorry, this might be cold hearted, but if you are stupid enough to have a firework in hand while it is lit, then well, you kinda got what you deserved.

If it was a Cowboys player I'd say the same thing too.

Here's a recent article and video related to what types of fireworks are legal and which are not in the State of Florida.

Summarized, if they leave the ground or go "Bang", they are illegal to set off in the State. Oddly enough, these same fireworks that are illegal to set off, are legal to buy in the State.

Idk, To me, that's like throwing a monkey a banana and asking him not to eat it. Seems as though the State wants the revenue from the sales but none of the responsibility. -smh
