Just heard it in Zorn's presser on 980 here in DC. He got kicked in the calf and had to have blood drained from it.

Kinda disappointing, I don't want to have to listen to a bunch of excuses about why we won the game from local Skins fans :D

Dang.
I could see Ellis/Ware/Henry/Ratliff getting 6 sacks with Jason in there.

Get well, soon, Jason.

FWIW, Dline depth is not "a bunch of mediocre players". After all, if the Skins staff really thought they had Dline "depth", they would have never panicked and traded for Taylor when the irreplaceable Phillip Daniels went down.

What the Skins have is a bunch of defensive linemen who are all mediocre and therefore interchangable. What they do not have, is quality depth.

yep this would be my one concern. Him forcing things instead of throwing it away and living to play another down.

I have no doubts about this team anymore. The fact that Owens had 2 cathces for 17 yards and we still rolled up nearly 500 yards of total offense has a way of alleviating concern. :laugh2:

Quite honestly, the fact that we can make the types of mistakes we have made in our previous two games and still come away with victories against the top NFC competition gives me even more confidence. Every team makes mistakes, the difference is that our guys are so friggin' dominant, it just doesn't matter that much when we make mistakes that would kill lesser teams.

Agreed. He's done it in every game this year, hasn't he? Of course he also has overcome it 3 times and gone on to kill the opposition. I don't know how many times he can get away with that.

I still can't get over the fact that some "Maddens" on this site wanted to trade Greg Ellis for Jason Taylor. What a freaking mistake that would have been.

Correct. But it ain't mediocre depth either. That was the Cleveland Browns of the early part of this decade

I like Carter, Wilson and James as pass rushers. D Evans is a good run stopping DE. Griffin, Golston and Montgomery are solid in the middle

Superstars? No. Quality players to have? Yea

You'd expect that o-line to actually provide enough room to gain a yard in December :)

Yea yea, I know, nobody played that game except for your mother on the o-line. Regardless, I think she would have blocked well enough to gain a yard

yawn..... same old regurgitated crap..... do you not have anything better than that to bring?

IDK this injury might be devastating because Shaun Springs sat out week 1 with the same injury.

Sorry, I misread that post. For some reason I had the QB in mind.

Anyway, get well soon, Jason.

Not the worst thing if you're a Commanders fan. If someone like Landry or Fletcher went down, I'd be far more upset.

I would much rather listen to them make excuses about why they lost than to have to listen to them crow about winning. Just me.

Greg Ellis can't hold Taylor's jock strap...

Can you make excuses if you lose by 20+?

Did you hear them after they played NE last year?
