True, im on the wall, Witten's Route running is impeccable, what i have beef is YAC, he is not outrunning anyone and also doesnt seems to use his 265 lb frame to bull out, when he falls 3 yards before 1st down in crucial phase of game , I miss youthful TE .

Listen Kooky. Jones holding Gronkowski to his lowest non injury influenced output in four seasons is excellent proof of his shortcomings. Just because I get my points from ESPN and can't argue my way out of a paper bag doesn't give you the right to poke holes in this Swiss cheese argument I wear for its taut fit and healthy aroma. You making me look stupid is just further proof that you're mad and that I have yet again won an argument because I said so. Nanananana boo boo.

I'm not clinging onto anything you're just looking for an opportunity to toss insults and make this about me. I see the usual suspects are starting to show up ready to pounce. Better keep this civil and not try and turn this thread sideways. The NE game was brought up which is why we're discussing it so don't give me this crap that I'm clinging onto it. Jones got toasted by lesser players than Gronk last season. The NE game was one of his better games but it certainly wasn't a great game for him. The jury is still out on whether he'll be the answer at safety.

You should see the PM this joker sent me once. Epic in it's hilarity and butthurt. He even suggested that, if needed, he'd bring a mod into the PM discussion.

Brady got hit early then began taking us apart. He completed 20 of 27 passes with 2 TDs and finished with a 130.9 passer rating.

That statement is not mutually exclusive to what I was saying. Your comment about how it was the attention Gronk was getting that got them open and the reality of the pick plays OTOH are.

What's really hilarious is the guy your disclosing the PM I sent to you, sent me a PM several months ago calling me an idiot. Ask him about that. You can bring up the PMs all you want it only makes you look bad. I send PMs to try and reason with insulting, combative posters so we both don't get in trouble. That's one of the reasons they have PMs here so posters can hash out their differences in private like mature adults but unfortunately you don't prefer to handle things like a mature adult. Just look at how you're handling this. LOL If you like coming off like a jr high kid that's up to you but it's only going to cause some to lose respect for you and your opinions. He runs good routes, but that isn't what makes him so dominate. What makes his so dominate is how deceptive his route running is. (he isn't that fast at all either) His route running skills make it easier for QBs to connect with him. He gets off the ball, and he gets to EXACTLY where he is supposed to be at EXACTLY the right time. Losing the defender for him is all about being deceptive so the defender doesn't know where the ball is going before he gets there.

Telegraphing routes is the easiest way to get your QB picked off.

That's how I look at Steve Largent. That guy wasn't fast at all but always knew how to get open.

Until the debacle last year at QB, JWit's yac has remained pretty much the same throughout his career.
