Who Farted @ the 9:23 mark in the Video
That story if true is why Garrett is a coward and @Idgit can do his deflecting all day about that chump but at what point does he put Jaylon in his place? You're the head coach and you let (assuming) Jaylon talk to you like that and you do nothing just so you can keep your job? What a loser. And he still wanted to come back this year. God i hate him.Because Garrett was al talk and no action.
I don't think Quinn would text Jaylon, he'd say it to his face, and if Jaylon was as disrespectful with his response, Quinn would try to choke him out Homer Simpson style.
Quinn is not the greatest in-game technician, but he's much more of hands-on (pun intended) coach.
Good job! You said it better than I did.
How could jerry stop garrett from benching jaylon? Lol threatening to fire him? Jerry isnt on the sidelineTrue, but I wouldn't put it past Jerry to clip his wings as far as benching him.
It makes Jerry look bad and an assistant coach isnt gonna do that.
From Smiths POV, I realize he already thinks he is great because his awful play is met with positive reviews from the walking ego, and also he is set for life financially.....but if he doesn't step up his game this year his life of being a celebrity Dallas Cowboy and making eight figures is over with.
Matter of the combo of him realizing it and Jerry allowing Quinn the authority he needs.
I'm happy you're comfortable with Quinn and like his methods and ability BTW. Gives me a bit more hope. Seriously.

Very nice post. Before this year, I thought Jaylon wasn't fully healthy. I thought he still had problems with his leg.
But seeing plays where he takes himself COMPLETELY out of the play, runs AWAY from the hole where the ball carrier is coming and being TOTALLY lost in his responsibility convinced me he's either just not a very instinctive player, he's scared or he simply isn't that smart.
It reminds me when I was coaching community football, and a parent was complaining because we wouldn't start this big kid on our team and asked me why.
And I told him when the hole opens up, he doesn't fill the hole; he runs away from the hole. You're just looking at his size and speed. He has no heart. We can't play him if he's not going to step into the hole and make the tackle. And we witnessed this over and over in practice. The kid was scared.
I really was pulling for Jaylon and want him to succeed. But watching him play is excruciatingly painful.
this isnt a Dak threadDak didn’t go 1-3, the team did.
No mystery. Jason garrett is a grown *** man. If he wants to bench a player he should just do it. He can explain why to jerry laterAnd therein lies the mystery of how much input Jerry had into coaching decisions.
Almost mentioned that about the end of this year.... unreal that he talked like they played great defense at the end of the year, it just took a while to learn the new defense.Did he just say they played elite defense in 2018???

It's like he has no idea that 1) they played a bunch of bad offenses, and 2) they were really only average. And yes, were hardly the 85 Bears two years ago. Incredible how clueless he is.
And on a side note, neither of the hosts pushed back one bit on that. It's like they're in the same club -- got paid and have great jobs, so who really cares about actually playing good football anyway?
Led the team in production for the last 3 seasons.....this is either true or its not.Led the league in tackle celebrations on plays ending in a first down for
the opposition.
BothGood fair criticism here. I’m not sure if Jaylon is unwilling to fill the hole or he just guesses which hole to fill and picks the wrong ones.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......Led the team in production for the last 3 seasons.....this is either true or its not.

Define production? Does he lead in anything other than tackles?Led the team in production for the last 3 seasons.....this is either true or its not.

I did a quick google search. I would say tackle for loss is production. Smith is not in the top 100. He is making tackles but how far down the field?
