Wish him the best. Hopefully a team gives him another shot.
He got paid and wanted to worry about after football. He could have been training and watching tape and studying…
For me I don’t blame him either but you could tell he slid backwards. Needed to train and study at that point in his career. He came back from a bad injury. Could have learned the game more and played longer and made more money..i don't ever bash a player for worrying about life after football. they all should be doing that from the college level via education and in the pros via investments. The game is too brutal and takes too much a toll not to.
Never would I blame him. But he had the money and could have waited to do what he did. Train and learn the game and gotten paid way more than what he is making now. I heard part of his contract was JJ allowing him to put cryo business in the star. Gonna make him a little money. But playing would make him millions..One can argue that, but can you really blame him taking advantage of what his situation was? I would have done the same as would you have
Oh that might leave a mark.By the way, one of the examples, where the "wanna be talent evaluators" here knew more than the pros. If only "the highly paid GB and NYG personnel" had followed this forum more often.
Maybe if he'd not done the hot boys or celebrations for doing nothing....I dont get the Jaylon hate. Good guy that unfortunately couldn’t do the things physically that he needed to do to remain a factor.
He had enough physical ability to have remained in the NFL but he was a very dumb player on the field.
In college his overwhelming physical ability offset his lack of instincts and lack of football knowledge.
After the injury he longer had that uber athleticism to compensate for a low football IQ.
His athleticism in college was Parsons-ish but Parsons probably had more football knowledge in High School than Jaylon has now.
but no gun.We have the dry powder.
