I’d sign him for 2 years at $8m - 4m guaranteed, incentives making up 3m...

Eifert, Swain, and Jarwin make a solid group. Look at the Draft and UFDA’s for more bodies to compete...

Or, we could just let Dak work with another D-squad; when it works, it works...

Where would Schultz fit?

And you are underestimating how human players actually are.
And its tough to say I am overestimating something when I never made any brash proclamations about it. I just simply said the other TE's must feel real special reading this. You claimed they dont care. I claim they are humans and humans care.
My sister knows Swaim and his family. He's a team guy that cares about whatever helps the team. Has been that way since highschool.

For which team?
He is a free agent.
I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if the rising star LB tweeted for the Cowboys to sign him.

Oh, he most certainly is. But, like Sean Lee, when he does play, he's a Pro Bowl caliber talent. Injury is the only reason why you might possibly get a player this good. Otherwise, he's a Gronkowski or Kelce type of talent that his original team never lets get away.

The reason why I would be willing to roll the dice on his well-established injury history is that I have faith in Jarwin and Schultz continuing to develop behind him.
I think that Jarwin is going to break out next year. Swaim can't seem to stay healthy and Shultz is getting better. Hope I got everyone's name right. jmho

You did, nice job!

I'm effectively done with Swaim. People are criticizing Eifert for injuries - and rightfully so - but when he does play, he's a Pro Bowl level TE and a mismatch. Swaim is just a good player, and he gets injured a lot too. If I'm going to risk injury, I'll shoot for the star rather than a guy who's just an OK player.
