That so many of you are focused on the money and thinking somehow JS's paycheck is an entitlement to laugh at the man says so much. I have no problem with the move, I have a problem with people rejoicing at another's failure. It's a pathetic, loser's mentality and a poor excuse for bad behavior.
Some of the comments are exaggerated, and cruel, especially for a good player who's career derailed as his body couldnt cope and he didnt have the football intelligence to overcome physical short comings with tactical acumen. but he didnt do himself any favors with his rumored comments about playing Special Teams.
But this is just exuberance (on a Fan Forum) and fans are just happy (no, jubilant) that Jerry is changing the organisational direction away from making contractual errors and then compounding the problem by kicking the can down the road and taking a stand and cutting.
It's a tough break on Jaylon, but the bottom line is that its a great day when we can cut $9m and have arguably better talent (Kearse, Neal and probably Cox) to play more snaps at a fraction of the cost.
