he did his retirement announcement doing arm curls in a cutoff at his house while listening to Bob Dylan.

I would guess he doesn’t care at all. I would also guess he will make some jokes taking shots at himself over this when he calls a Dallas game this year.

I know his time in Dallas and playing for the Cowboys means everything but someone else using his number on the team probably does not. I would be willing to bet he wishes him well based on never having said a bad thing about anyone.

Seems like it’s based on what’s going on this off-season so far. The rookie minicamp QB’s were bad and it looks like so far in OTA’s the non-Dak QB play has been bad. Think Watkins is just inferring that this looks like it needs some outside attention.
