If I understand correct, the concern is whether there is adequate reinnervation?
If the muscle is already getting better, then I presume the nerve is doing its thing and will keep getting better.

My question is anyone with a trained eye looked at these video?
Can anyone tell whether he is back to his previous self or at least his turning etc is as good as a typical LB?
If so and the reports of 4.4/4.5 speed is real, then he is mostly back?

I guess no one knows if he is still using the brace or not.
Also if he is using the brace, is it for preventive reasons or does he need it to lift his foot.

If he is really performing like an elite athlete even with the brace, does it even matter?
In fact, one may argue that he may now be predisposed to an uninjury of his ankle area and he should wear some type of brace whether he is fully recovered or not...

I posted info from a Dr. (PT), that works with athletes. He needs it to lift his foot, and he doesn't have full use of his calf muscle.

It wouldn't really affect him laterally or backpedaling, but rushing forward would be an issue.

In his opinion, he wouldn't play at the level of his college years obviously (because he doesn't have full use of one of the strongest muscles in the body, can't remember if he said *the* strongest or not), but he could play with the brace.

It's just really hard to tell. Jaylon looks like he's working his butt off though, and I bet even with the brace he's already better than anyone not named Sean Lee.

Thanks.

If rushing forward is an issue, then he would not be running a 4.4/4.5 as he claimed?

I have completely untrained eyes, so I have no way to tell if his cutting and turning is back to normal or almost normal...

Dude looks huge for a LB. Even without pads.

True, I met him at Topgolf and he is huge , for a LB , huge biceps and big upper body , he can defend TEs & he can be sitautional pass rusher.
