The only thing that concerns me is the conflicting stories from Brian Broadus and the "Talking Cowboys" crew.. they seem to think that the main stream media isn't reporting the true story ab Jaylon. They insinuated that all the 'good' reports are over blown and Jaylon is still very much limited. Although, from all the pics, videos, and reports seem to state otherwise. I want nothing more than to see Smith and Lee playing along side each other come week 1. At this point, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah, that's bothering me too. Mickey and Broaddus both have cautioned fans about Jaylon. I was very impressed seeing him move in the video and hearing that he was running with special teams. However, Mickey (who usually is super positive all the time about the Cowboys) has downplayed Smith's progress.

Yeah the biggest problem is he is supposedly looking good right now, but we might never know how good he would've looked out there pre-injury. Being a good serviceable starter is alot different than being a generational HOF talent. I don't think we will ever know the real truth, all we can do is sit back and watch.

Did I really post in another Jaylon thread.......

I will wait until I see an official report from his doctor before I jump up and down.

Neither had seen Jaylon practice until today.

You like will never see that, because of like HIPAA laws and stuff you know.

So you will take what the team says and like it.

Even if you could see the Doctor's report on Jaylon, it would not help.

The Doctors will say he can play, however, they can't determine if he can play at an NFL level.

The physical difference between players that are not quite good enough and other players that are really good is often only a few percent (i.e. An elite player is no longer elite if he loses 5% of his ability and is probably out of the league if he loses 10%).

I keep seeing that poorly hidden hand or handle on the bottom right that's moving the creature. I'm sure it was green screened initally but they didn't do a good job of hiding it
actaully in the movie it is more like a snake and you are seeing the tail whipping.

i just listened to it and they didnt insinuate anything what ur typing. What they said about media is tthey think hes doing more then what hes doing. They were repeating themselves over and over, basically saying they are holding him back right now and they dont want to be able to see him do more to really talk about him as having a impact this yr.

Said the team has basically hyped him up with all the praise and excitement. Theres nothing wrong with that because they see him throughout the week. These guys see him one day a week.

I'm not sure what "talking Cowboys" show you was listening too..But, since you took the time to basically call me a liar.. Maybe try listening to yesterday's show ab 49mins into the show.. Brian and Mickey both was debating whether Dallas would start Jaylon on NFI/PUP to start training camp. It's not really an argument.. it on tape. Besides, I hope they're wrong. Smh. Some just argue to argue[/QUOTE]

Cowboys linebacker Jaylon Smith said he is seeing "some great transition with the nerve regenerating," that has affected his left foot. Sean Lee said it is "a matter of time before he's a dominant players."

Honestly, the best part of this is Sean Lees' qoute. He never goes out of his way to praise other players. Sure he'll give "coach speak" and say all the right things, but he doesn't usually say, so and so is dominated.

listening to the latest one. They said he could start on NFI or PUP list at TC only because if u dont start on one of those to start TC you cant be placed on it later. They really gave no new information then what we have been told by the team. They are bringing him along slowly, but they are excited on his progress. Your post made it out to be like they had some inside info and theres this big smoke screen and the team is hiding the true story. Which isnt the case, and wasnt the case on the show. They basically just said we havent see it, and we wont see it until TC so we cant talk about it until we do. Thats all they said.

I listened and thought they sounded skeptical. They didn't think it wouldn't be ready, discussed what would happen if he can't play or they have to cut them, and how the Joneses might have backed themselves into a corner with all the hype.

My ears are sensitive to pessimistic jibber-jabber and both Mickey Spaz and Broaddass were poo-poo'ing on Jaylon's potential to see the field early in the season...if at all. They've actually been doing this for the past couple of months and it's annoying. We're 6+ weeks away from the start of training camp, but that doesn't stop Mickey from doing his overly-contrarian routine.

Boy do I loathe that little hobbit.

I love this. People are begging for more sunshine.

I don't listen to the broadcasts, nor do I value either Broaddus' or Spagnola's opinion.

It is very interesting to see the anger though.
