First thing I thought of when I heard he signed with GB. Posted the youtube video in the other thread.I can hear the Billy Beane/ David Justice discussion from here.

sad but true ----Jerry pays for a loserSo he is getting about 5-6 million for the rest of the year
Of course, the Pack will pay him the minimum because Jaylen gets paid the same either way, as the Cowboys are on the hook for the rest.
All is well except all the money Dallas is paying himThat's good. Essentially, the more the Packers give him, the less we'll be obliged to pay. It works out OK for both sides, imho.
To be totally honest and up front, nobody expected them to pay nearly as much as we did, right? Right. All's well that ends well.
A flashing blue light special at the old K martQuite a 'bidding war' for his services.
That's about 770K too much
I see what you did...good one. That's one way to look at it, but another way is the Cowboys are paying him to play for the Packers (lol)

Is this satire?I wish you guys would respect LVE’s wishes and not discuss Jaylon’s salary.
This is their livelihood.
we are paying him to screw up their run defense and make their defense worse and frustrate Smugface some more. Good investmentThat's one way to look at it, but another way is the Cowboys are paying him to play for the Packers (lol)
His drop foot leg is shot. He'll never be his ND self again or even 2018. He's a cooked rooster running with his head cut off.Since hes playing for another contract he might play like a real linebacker again.
Good deal for the Packers, even if Jaylon continues to play at a lower level.
Honestly looks like everyone gets what they wanted. I'd rather the Cowboys paid him even if he was a backup since they're going to pay him anyway, but I suppose this was more about how the Cap works next year.
