I dont have twitter and for some reason, I cant watch videos on DC.com. The videos I've seen on him he looks amazing, if he loses some weight I think he translates well into the NFL. (With the right plays) Does ANYONE have anything one this guy.

Why does he have to lose weight?

I really wished we would have used a seventh on Trey Millard before San Francisco drafted him. He may not be the blow up blocker that cope land can be but he is good enough. We is a superior special teams guy and receiver. Basically all the stuff we were trying to get Hannah to do Millard can do better. I'm really tired of watching the skinny 6'4 4.5 guy trying to do stuff he is not equipped to do.

In Vickers' defense, there were usually two defenders in the backfield before he ever got up out of his stance.

So true. He got a bad rap around here, but NO FB could have been effective that year. If the OL is playing on rollerskates it makes it difficult for more than just the RB and QB.

I don't get the hype with this guy. He's a straight line-ish one trick pony that the game only further evolves from every year.
He actually has really good lateral agility and quickness for a guy his size. And he can catch the ball. All the while being a wrecking ball blocker. I'm not a huge fan of the FB position, but he seems like he can do a damn good job at it.

Camp fodder. He won't be around long unless he shows much more than his time at LSU.

You really think 10 lbs will make or break him? I'm sure they'd love for him to drop to 260, but if he can play, he can play. What he really should be focused on, is contributing on special teams.

What undrafted rookie is a lock at this point in the offseason?

I believe there was a report that they told him at rookie camp that he needed to get down in the 250 range.

I'm excited about the rookies too. I just don't see this overweight kid making it. If he was a beast, someone may have drafted him late in round seven. Name the FBs his size that have made it in the NFL.

I want to run the ball with power too, but I'd prefer a 245 LB fullback with a little straight line speed who can catch the ball.
Here's some, there are also H-Backs that are in the 260 area.
FB Henri Hynoski 6-1 266 Giants
FB Jed Collins 6-0 255 Lions (former Saint)
FB Vonta Leach 6-0 260 Ravens
FB Marcel Reece 6-1 255 Raiders

If you watched his game film, you would note that he didn't make half of those decleaters that he attempted. He looks 'awesome' because of cherry picked successes. His efficiency as a blocker was awful overall.

If I was the GM for a team that right now stunk the place up and had to be totally rebuilt; and did not have a franchise QB, I would seriously look at building a battering ram type of offense to take advantage of these small front seven's that are starting to proliferate.

The nutcutting for Copeland begins the first day in pads. Until then, everything is pretty much window dressing.
