This dude actually makes a play on the ball.He has blinding closing speed. He makes plays simply.

I think his play is getting the other Dbs jealous and they're balling up too.. Have you seen the Hits T. New has been throwing? Imo the weakest link now is Ken :bang2:

You don't know what your talking about.

Don't you know he sucks and is only starting over Scandrick because he was a 1st round pick?

Wade and Jerry are clearly more concerned with how smart they look than putting the best players on the field.

I was one of the ones on the scandrick band wagon but I will admit Jenkins is the man, he deserves his starting role and its awesome that we have as good a back up as we do in Scandrick.

Jenkins is turning into a stud that's for sure. I might say his style is impetuous, his defense impregnable. He's ferocious, he wants the receiver's heart. Oh, and he wants to eat their children.
Lol, Mike Tyson.

I was not high on this guy during training camp, but he played beyond my expectations and he seems to improve each game. That INT was a great play.

The Eagle flap after the pickoff was epic.

Great play! Great emotion!

He's a lot like pre-Achilles tendon snapping Kevin Smith circa 1994 when he was pro bowl caliber.

I have to say this.

Matt Mosley is the only writer that noted Terence Newman's great play on DeSean Jackson.

If Jackson scores a TD, the Cowboys lose.

Our homerun hitter hit a homer, and their guy got blanketed by Newman and negated.

That was the game.

Newman dropped a pick, but he played a major role in holding that little, green troll to a 2-29-0 day. He was on him most of the game.

For the safety to be a factor, the man coverage underneath must hold up.

Well, it held up, in spades.

That little troll, DeSean Jackson is on Newman's belt, and Newman will shut him down, again, in December.

If you want to beat that team, you can't let that little, green troll torch you deep for huge plays.

Scandrick had a good night too IMO. The one pass that got by him, a 3rd and 6 to Avant. Scandrick had VERY good coverage on what was an absolutely perfect pass by McNabb.

This reminded me of another pass on Scandrick (?vs Atlanta or Seattle?) where his coverage was spot on as good as you could ask for, but the pass *JUST* got by him.

I think he'll continue to improve and we'll see less and less of those and start seeing passes broken up and intercepted.

Uh, there was a time when that was true.

Not anymore.

I expect to see Scandrick continue to improve though, too. He doesn't have Jenkins' physical gifts, but he can be a very good CB.

Jenkins can be as good as he wants to be. Which looks to be very, very good.

I got the feeling the iggles WRs must of watched the tape from the Atlanta game and the hits Jenkins and Newman was laying. Macklin short armed a couple over the middle last night.

Its really awesome to see a Dallas secondary that is intimidating other teams and making plays on the ball.

You just had to remind me of that achilles tendon injury. Completely ruined for me a big win over the Giants on MNF. Other than Deion Sanders I cant think of a corner who gave Jerry Rice as much trouble as Kevin Smith did. He was on his way to becoming a great, great cornerback.

Having said that, I see a lot of Kevin Smith in Mike Jenkins as well, and Jenkins may have even better ball skills than Smith did.

I know its early yet and I am on the edge about it myself but I think that Mike Lenkins is becoming better than TNewman. I haven't seen the speed for Newman like I have from Jenkins. they are both still great cb's dont get me wrong but I just think Mike Jenkins is a great Corner.
