And everyone wanted to right him off after one bad tackle attempt...?hypocites

I don't think everybody wanted him off the team...exaggerate much?

But, it is very understandable that people were upset with that play.

Having been one who was pissed off, I'm glad to see he has rebounded with a vengeance. Nothing at all hypocritical about that. Nice try though.

That's not what it means to "write someone off."

He's saying they were judging him negatively, saying he shouldn't be starting or was afraid of contact or whatever.

I'm thrilled with him. The guy can play the ball. I am a big time Jenkins fan.

Me too! I had the Cowboys taking him in the first round back in 08'. When I saw him still sitting there and the Cowboys took him, I was ecstatic!

He is a baller for sure.

Scandrick had a good night too IMO. The one pass that got by him, a 3rd and 6 to Avant. Scandrick had VERY good coverage on what was an absolutely perfect pass by McNabb.

This reminded me of another pass on Scandrick (?vs Atlanta or Seattle?) where his coverage was spot on as good as you could ask for, but the pass *JUST* got by him.

I think he'll continue to improve and we'll see less and less of those and start seeing passes broken up and intercepted.

That seems to be Scandrick's weakness. The ability to get your eyes on the ball while it's in the air and then make a play on the ball is really what seperates the good from great CBs. Scandrick generally has good coverage but he gives up some plays because he doesn't make a play on the ball.

It is very much what some of these guys mean when they post these snide comments in threads praising Jenkins. If that's not what he meant, I apologize, but my point still stands. Nobody is looking hypocritical for praising Jenkins recent play. People had every reason to judge him negatively by that play. Now, people have every reason to praise him. Two different situations.

Even if he didn't mean to get rid of him, exactly, he was saying that people were thinking he has no value and dismissing him. Either way, let's focus on the right part of the story instead of pointing out flaws in semantics.
