...who if walked into the room you'd dive Over people to get his autograph!

i wouldn't. I've avoid the hole "your an eagles fan, must make fun of" stuff, but I think you need to take off the homer glasses. Donovan is a good qb, but in that SB he trucked up bad, and now is mixing up his story and blaming a wide out that isn't on the team any more.

That's just ******** for McScab to say those things, from a philosophical stand point. T.O. had a MONSTER superbowl to that point, why would you not go to him at the end, he was on fire, and why would you think he couldn't last thru the whole game, he gave no indication, that I remember, he couldn't. In their mind, the rest of the Eagles and the coaching staff were playing not to lose, T.O. was playing to win that game. I don't like T.O. but GET REAL McPuke.

That's like the Bulls not giving Jordan the ball at the end of a finals game when they need a bucket.

Believe it or not... McNabb wasnt gonna let TO help win that SB in the end... he tried to force the ball to other receivers just to show "who the man was" and that he was gonna choose who he through the ball to... its that simple.

Well I don't know if I'd go that far, I mean it is the Superbowl, McPuke's status in history hung in the balance, just like every other QB in the SB. I don't think that was his mind set. The Superbowl is too big a game for something like that, I don't even think McPuke would stoop to that level during that game, regular season, maybe.

I just think they were trying to use up as much time as they could to score and then hope for the onside kick to go their way, score again so Brady didn't have enough time to do anything after that. IMO.

I admire those few who take your approach to opponent fan; too many fans jum on the "it's ok to troll opponent fans" approach. If I take off the homer glasses as you suggest, I'm almost afraid of what I'll see in McNabb. I know he is talented and I know he has flaws. He probably could have played better in the 2004 Superbowl. But again, the Patriots had something to do with that also.

I wish I could cut through all of the home-grown trolls that we have and dialogue sensibly with you and others here that appreciate an opposing point of view. But the very moment that I make a point of sting someone because I'm a dedicated Eagles fan ...I start getting insulted, and pelted by the same crew ...you know who they are too.

That said, it's difficult to "take off the homer glasses" and allow that element to add insult to injury. Hence, the green glasses remain.

Have a good Cowboys day!

Yeah, you - like McNabb - are some kind of 'victim' right?

Persecuted by an angry world for doing nothing other than being you.

And yet, I guess it's OK to try take shots at Romo and get away with it, right?

You have a good day too!

BOTTOM LINE. McFlabb was puking and tired at the end of the game. FACT.
He was not able to make the plays that could have won the game. FACT.
In the end it was on him and no one else. FACT.

McNabb keeps on looking more and more ridiculous as we are now two years removed from it and he is still coming up with excuses.
