If the offense blocks it up right, they'll usually have a blocker on the LB's unless the defense specifically uses one as a spy on the QB... which is a good idea in a lot of situations.

Now you're representing the offense (the opponent) ... Counselor.
If my defense is reading their keys the LBs should be on top of that ... now this is just in my world. Anything from the scrimmage line and, let's say 7 yards beyond, I expect my LBs to handle that.

He only has a single more career interception than does Claiborne.

What quarterback holds the record for the most interceptions in a single game?

The NFL record for passes intercepted in a single game is 8 thrown by Chicago Cardinals QB Jim Hardy in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles in 1950.

The NCAA Division 1-A record for passes interception in a game is 9 and is held by John Reaves of Florida. The game was against Auburn in 1969.

I remember when Joe Theismann threw 5 INT's on his birthday against the Cowboys....toward the end of the game, the fans at Texas Stadium started singing happy birthday to Joe....that was awesome!!!
