If he keeps Garrett or hires a puppet that's probably what I'll do.

Jerry has done a solid job putting this roster together. He can't coach them or call plays. Thats the issue. The fans calling for Jerry to fire himself are some of the dumbest people ive come across.

We’ve had Puppets for 2 decades. What took so long?

Like some others have said the players in the 70's, 80's and 90's were my heroes. I lived and died Cowboys back then. I always had hope we could somehow win in spite of Jerry. That hope is almost lost on me now. It's just hard to come to terms with that.

And some others are still in denial that Jerry's a good GM. At least I'm not that bad. lol

Name another GM who has had zero success for 24 straight years and kept their job that entire time.

The Cowboys aren't going to win anything ever again as long as that man is above ground. Might as well come to grips with it.

Just last year fans were talking about how much Jerry has changed, Stephen was in charge now and how bright our future was. Lol

And that’s how Jerry has kept so many fans in check. He sells hope but not a good football franchise.

That's the problem with having the owner also be the GM.

And I don't think Stephen is going to be any better. He likes the spotlight too. The only difference is he doesn't have the personality of his Dad.

Yeah he's another owner/GM who has failed for decades just like Jerry. The NFL should institute a rule that the owner can't be the GM.

I don't know what we all did to deserve the total zero that is Jerry Jones, but it must have been pretty bad.

If he won’t fire himself, I’ll volunteer to do it for him.
He should be the first to go!

If you're unwilling to fire yourself perhaps you should be unwilling to hire yourself.

Fans keep showing up in droves (in an era where many teams are playing in 1/2 empty or worse stadiums). It enables Jones. His pocketbook is healthy, so he's free to make idiotic statements like this, because thousands of chumps show up 8 times a year to stuff his pockets with cash.

    I mean...you can't argue with a man who says

"Picture you were a driver of a car and you had a wreck and your hand was almost severed off, but you didn't understand your anatomy. You look down, you're spurting blood, you open the door, and run to the woods, and either die bleeding to death or shock. The educated man looks down, knows his anatomy, squeezes and knows his best chance is to wait for help. That's because he's been there a lot and done that. So I'm squeezing and waiting for help."

If that doesn't work, I'm going to start handing out copies of Catcher in the Rye, and talk to people about Jerry Jones.
