We still have some fans who support our owner though. They thought he’s built a talented team.

They are all silent since Sunday but there are ample here.

Well, the one FA they went after was Greg Hardy. With our success rate with guys with personal issues of course it flamed out.
You’re not going to hit home runs with all your free agents. It’s like the draft but the better the quality, the better chance at success. I mean we did find gold in Kearse and Hooker a few years back.

We didn't need him. Preserve the pie.

The Jets are desperate. I think the Cowboys missed the boat two years ago. We need to make moves in the offseason with a new coaching staff, all our picks, and $100 million in salary space.

For sure. Just of course the one guy they go after was a talented but equally troubled person off the field. Like you posted earlier, frustrating to see the FO just blow good chances due to their stubbornness to not at least try more mid range FAs. No one is really asking for the top 3 guys in the FA pool. But maybe a mid range DT, or LB, edge etc...

Jerry keeps using his failure as an excuse to not go after anyone else. Free agency is always a gamble but so is the draft. Two big free agents at defensive tackle would do wonders for this defense. So would a running back with some juice.

Jerry constructs the team so that if everyone is healthy we are a top 5 team, but that comes at the cost of paying for a lot of stars. He also goes for high risk reward players, whether it’s medical or psych trying to field the most talented team. But no one is ever 100% healthy and so when players go down we have C players behind or A to B+ players and once a few go down it’s too much to make up for.

jerry would make less money having great schemes and a lot of B-B+ across the whole roster, but we’d get better results.

The average age of a GM in the NFL is 46.5 years old minus GM Jethro.

Jerry is the oldest current GM by 22 years and when Stephen takes over he will automatically become the second oldest GM on day 1.
