You're the same guy that said Kurt Warner wasn't credible when it came to Dak sucking, only to try and re-write the narrative that Warner questioning certain route concepts somehow makes all the stinging criticisms of Dak by Warner vanish in his multiple videos. Suddenly, Warner has become a champion of Dak according to you.

That being said, Jerry said what Jerry said..
I said Kurt Warner shouldn't just focus blame on the QB when it was clear the receivers were also to blame with their lazy route running and lack of separation. Sure enough, as if Kurt heard me, he soon started mentioning how the receivers poor performance was also affecting the QB. That's when Kurt won me over...by being fully honest.

Sucks to be you to be so wrong, Genius.

Considering they screw up there second round picks normally via experiments, I’d like for them to take a risk on a QB in that round

They already used a late pick on DiNucci and that was a big miss. I think they will learn from that and go a little earlier...hopefully 3rd or 4th round. Normally I'm all about getting that 1st round QB but in times like this, beggars can't be choosers. I'll be happy with a new QB prospect on the roster.

At least you are admitting that Kurt Warner "was focusing blame on the QB", meaning Dak was the CENTER of his criticism.

Kurt did that in some of his earlier videos with Dak last season as well. The reason I like Warner is because he looks at the offense as a whole although he is a QB. If an Olineman gets blown up he calls it, if a WR runs a bad route he calls it.
If a QB (Dak) takes to many hitches he calls it. If the play concept by the OC doesn’t provide adequate answers for the QB he calls it.

Jerry has never tried to create an environment of competition at the QB position. In fact, it's been just the opposite.

Jerry has never proclaimed he will be drafting a QB even when he has in fact drafted a low round QB for backup purposes.

If you acknowledge both of those as true, then you have to question why now, for the first time ever, Jerry is stating that not only will he be looking at QB's in the draft, but he should have been doing it for years.

Why would Jerry be coming out now to state something he has never stated, or done in the past?

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to read between the lines on this one.

The Joneses are reactionary, so I could see them drafting one as early as the second round because of how the Eagles succeeded by taking Hurts when they already had Wentz.

No this is Dallas we go public we get one in the , 6th round!

Use one of those comp picks to get one

You are correct.. And why would he call out, when they lost, the QB play as the advantage he thought they had over the 49ers immediately, all else being essentially equal... Jerry says whatever is on his mind.

In the same day. Stephen says they are committed to Dak and Jerry says they are committed to drafting a QB.

And we wonder why this team hasn't done jack in 28 years.

Dysfunction at its finest.
Maybe he means that we are committed to Dak until we get a better QB

I love how everybody gets into Dak Prescott mode when all this comment means is this:

Dallas is using a late round pick on the next Stephen McGee or Mike White because somebody is going to give Cooper Rush more money than they will.

he worded it incorrectly. he meant he was going to use draft picks to trade for A A Ron
I posted a thread on if it would be a good idea. But the dead money would kill both teams.

The message should've been delivered behind closed doors. Announcing your draft intentions to the rest of the league makes no sense, but it's Jerry so...
That's my point.......Jerry's been dealing with media for over 40 years. He knows exactly what he's doing.......this is calculated

Yeah, AC was dogging the hell out of Kurt when he was pointing out Dak's bad play, and then from the other side of AC's mouth when Kurt said something nice about Dak that is when AC was begging the Cowboys to hire Kurt to tutor Dak. Flop like a fish out of water. Now AC says that Kurt is a good guy, but the minute he says something bad about Dak, he is a good for nothing punk or something like that.
