When you made this comment about Payton, I went and did a quick search in regards to fixing Russell Wilson. This is what he said:Hurts is a system QB.
Philly has a great defense and run game
I heard Sean Payton say this week that “the Eagles are doing (innovative) things in the run game that NO ONE IN THE NFL IS DOING”
Think about that statement for a second from a very very good HC who has been in the league 20 years
Meanwhile every team we play says that our offense is “simple” before and after the game
"You correct flaws immediately, and then we don't worry about how long the process is going to take," Payton said. "In other words, I'd want a cut-up today of all of Russell's pass plays of 30 or more yards from the field and I'd want to see, 'Are there some schemes that he felt very comfortable with?'"
Payton also said he'd take a close look at what made Wilson successful in Seattle.
"I know they did a great job in Seattle of bringing him off of a naked boot and then pulling up," Payton said. "And then we all saw that throwback to Tyler Lockett across the field where the ball traveled 60 yards in the air."

As I said in the past, Dallas generally avoided throwing out of 3-5-7 step drop-backs for Dak under center. Some folks tried t counter this by saying, the 7 step frop was a dying art, but Dallas with Dak was bottom-of-the-barrell irrespective. If you notice, they basically had Dak doing drop-backs out of shot-gun, nothing really out from under center, which obviously is going to make you more predictable..
Obviously, the implication is a good OC selects plays that the QB is good at. This brings us to question of the route-calls Moore selected with Dak. Obviously he isnt going to have those limitations with Herbert, who can make any throws and goes through his progressions with ease.
