Quinn and Donald are going to be vying for DMVP honors under Wade.

As good as all are in what they do, Quinn and Donald are 4-3 guys and Wade is a 3-4 coach, I'm not sure how it all fits together.

I think we'll have to settle for a War Orphan. Ain't no daddy around from what I see. Best hope is David Irving becomes the boss and Jaylon Smith is a superstar as a nickel rusher.

Maybe Minnesota would be willing to deal Barr or Hunter.

What Jerry seems to be trying to convey is that finding and acquiring a talented "war daddy" is easier said than done but they'll try anyway. There's no doubt but what they're tough to find and sign but here's hoping they'll have a go at it anyhow. It's, without question, our most desperate need.
Yes very hard to find a war daddy. But all this lets trade for this teams pro bowl DE make its sound like its sample just trade for him. With this kind of logic we should trade Zek or Zack Martin - Why because there a team that need a ( RB or OG ) and we have a Plethora of pro bowl OG. Yes let's trade Romo for Von Miller or Kahlil Mack. Madden is a game people stop it

1) Greg Hardy was an epic strike out.
2) Randy Gregory was another strike out
3) Mclain was a single that the runner was thrown out trying to advance to 2nd base. Dallas got 1 good and another decent year out of him and that should have been all, but they tried getting a 3rd year and it failed.

Having said that I'm OK with taking another chance. It think Dallas is primed cap-wise and contracts wise to take another gamble. And if Dallas does, I hope it's Nick Perry. He's the "war daddy" that I want if Dallas is going to make a splash on D.

We need a corner just as bad.

We will have to face quick passing teams or a Julio Jones to most likely get to the Superbowl and we need a guy that can press and slow down Julio & Odell.

Yeah, trading Romo and someone that isn't expected to leave anyway would definitely be two different scenarios entirely. DE's don't grow on trees, that's for sure, especially good ones that teams are reluctant to part with unless they get something valuable in return. Romo might fit into that category satisfactorily, provided the right team gets involved in the deal. You're right -- it's not something easily accomplished.

Only premier defensive end is JPP. At the very least, Jerry seems to be talking a little out of the ordinary compared to his offseason remarks the last few years when we have been very conservative in free agency. Regardless, Jerry sure has a way with words.

“If I have a chance to bring one of these premiere pass rushers, one of these war daddies that takes two to block, if I have a chance to get a player like that — I would … it’s not a question of that,” Jones said on ESPN Dallas 103.3 (via the Dallas Morning News). “It’s a question of where is he? And who gives him up if he’s a veteran, or where is he in the draft, or where is he anywhere? So, yeah we do need pressure. We’re going to try to do something about it.”

Wade still plays a one gap system so he can use smaller nose tackles like when he had Rat in Dallas. Would need to have bigger DE's to protect him however. Or they could use Donald like Wade used Bruce Smith and pressure from DE spot.

Jerry likes to use the word "daddy." He said something about Dak being the daddy on a play this season when he was running with the ball.

Well if it doesn't. Poe will.....can't franchise both. Or pay both
That is much more likely to happen.

He would be a nice addition but his price tag put him out of interest of the Cowboys.

What will likely happen is a long term deal gets done with Berry. Despite what is being said in the media.

Whenever I hear Jerry talk like this I just feel real uneasy....he is like one word away from saying something really racist

Lol I doubt it. Jerry is probably the furthest owner from being racist
