Would be nice to have a Ray Lewis type to fire the defense up. We need more leadership on defense, that will give the defense a lift in the playoffs.

Lol I doubt it. Jerry is probably the furthest owner from being racist
that has nothing to do with it.....Jerry doesn't speak the same language .....I have never seen so many random words, phrases and thoughts thrown together into some weird stream of consciousness word salad

You can't just throw in Watt in the same sentence as if they're equal

Watt is the best defensive lineman in the NFL...Clowney isn't close
They are also compensates quite differently and back issues are very serious for athletes. Especially lineman.

While it's never going to happen I could see why Houston might be wondering if they still have the Watt we all know.

Jerry's got it all wrong. What he needs is War Babies, not "Daddys." This team needs to get younger.

Yes very hard to find a war daddy. But all this lets trade for this teams pro bowl DE make its sound like its sample just trade for him. With this kind of logic we should trade Zek or Zack Martin - Why because there a team that need a ( RB or OG ) and we have a Plethora of pro bowl OG. Yes let's trade Romo for Von Miller or Kahlil Mack. Madden is a game people stop it
Zeke for Ramsey straight up?

Whenever I hear Jerry talk like this I just feel real uneasy....he is like one word away from saying something really racist

Phrase has been used in football circles since the 50's but I'm with you, Jerry has the ability to take even well known words/phrases and make it cringe worthy.

The Dline is really young. Irving, tapper, Gregory, tank, collins ect.

And it needs to be upgraded

They are young but none of them are key pieces except maybe Collins. Rather than go out and get free agent "War Daddys," they need to keep drafting defensive line talent to add to the rotation.

I understand your view. They need to add talent. How they add talent is where we differ.

Go cowboys

Wow Jerry, you finally realized that our defensive line totally sucks.........most fans knew this years ago, but better late than never

What gave it away? Getting beat by a one legged Rogers in 14 or getting beat by Rogers in 16 playing without even fastening his chin strap and laughing the whole time about it.

Jerry now saying, "you know, I think we could use one of those guys that has to get doubled when pass rushing"

You think?

They tried and failed in the 2015 offseason.

Greg Hardy had just as much upside as any 4-3 end in the league and Gregory was still a bargain in the second.

You swing, you miss---maybe this year they won't be so risky with it.
They tried to build an OL for Romo for years but didn't want to use 1st rounders on it. The parade of draft failure was amazing. One thing I can't fault this team on is knowing their weaknesses; one thing I can fault this team on is knowing how to fix the problems effectively. Hopefully times have indeed changed.

Think Wilfork in his prime. That's what we need.

Had multiple opportunties to get similar players. Still think we should have at least called Haloti Ngata's agent back when he hit the market.
