Okay, I for one am intrigued to see how Deion does with Colorado the rest of the season and if he makes the leap to the NFL as a Head Coach....always thought he was a great motivator type and clearly he knows the game of football....but would it translate into the NFL? I doubt he would want to make the move and deal with the often adult baby mentality and that he prefers to mold players into all-around young men but time will tell.
My reason is that he is a stickler for detail and demands that, up front. That is doable because he already has earned his voice, despite talents, he was very smart and worked well as part of a team. After he graduates his son...he would be a workable grab.

Shedeur Sanders is draft-eligible next season but the dynamic Travis Hunter (Colorado CB/WR) isn't eligible until the 2025 draft......so talk about making the headlines: Shedeur stays another season after this one and then JJ hires Deion to be the Head Coach of Dallas in 2025 and then BOTH Shedeur and Hunter get drafted by Dallas.....talk about JJ making a big splash. lol

Jerry speaks as if listeners do NOT read into his comment or take them 100% literally. I'd like to hear the rest of this dialogue as I"m sure (wink-wink) Archer didn't just grab a spicy Jerry snippet for everyone to pick at.

You really think you own a comprehensive view of references and behind scene elements in all of his actions?

When Jerruh finally sees that Trey Lance still plays like Trey Lance regardless what uniform he is wearing..... he'll "credit" somebody else for getting Trey Lance....and probably fire him (or get his mentally challenged son Fredo to do it)

Nope...but most everyone else believes they do. Just an old man talking more than he should.

... in the meantime, Johnny Football had Netflix special. "Why Jerry and others loved me, but I loved other things"

That question has already been asked to Deion about coaching in the NFL. His answer was, no way does he want to put up with a bunch of already rich kids and that he would rather groom kids to enter the NFL. So, no, Deion does not want to coach in the NFL, Cowboys or no Cowboys.

You as a youngster have a multi billion dollar franchise...right? Step on up, then...and school all of us as old as Jerry.

Plus, college dominance is about recruiting and Deion has that pull. The NFL is where coaches really have to coach.,
