Garrett as coach
Marinelli as DC, Tampa 2, that was Dungy and Kiffin scheme, 10-38 as head coach
No FA signings
Callahan, lol
But his wallet getting fatter and fatter but we haven't won since 1995.

I'm just venting, It's just sad that our team can't compete year in year out but always has the highest grossing team and always have the highest ratings on TV.

I feel like a Knicks fan :(

He cares, he just makes crap decisions day in and day out. He's said it himself. Something to the effect of he knows half his decisions on the day to day are wrong and he tries to brush them aside.
Take that for what it is.

Jerry wants to win a Super Bowl. Who doesn't? He just doesn't know how. That won't stop him from trying to do it his way though and he will savor the partial and moral victories that come along every once in a while.

Same as always. He wants to win very badly but he cares much more about winning his way or because of him.

He wants to prove it was him not Jimmy that was responsible for the 90s SB wins. He's wrong about that but won't admit it. He views the value of the franchise and his HOF induction as merits to his theories that he's the reason for the 3 rings.

He bought the team from a businessman mode and he has never stopped thinking that way.

Funny thing happened, we actually won Super Bowls. Then things changed.

He lost perspective about winning when he decided he wanted credit for when or if it happened.

And that was a very very very long time ago.

He literally said it a few years back. When asked if he’d rather keep doing things his way or win a trophey with a coach that didn’t want him as involved. He said he’d choose to keep doing it his way. He makes a lot of money with a super loyal fan base, if he wins it’d be a bonus. Certainly not the top priority for him. Obviously.

No free agent signings?

We have been against the cap because he drafted well and have resigned our own guys. That money doesn’t come from his pocket. The Steelers nor are the Packers historically big free agent spenders.

Jerry would sell his soul to the devil to win a Super Bowl again but his ego is too big to take some of the steps needed. He has already came a long way though...our drafting is night and day since McClay took over.

He wants to win it his way, without Jimmy, without help from others. He wants it based on his choices, his coaches, his plan.
And he is too stubborn and / or senile to admit he is wrong. Now without Zeke he will have a built in excuse to keep the status quo through 2018 at least.

The problem is Jerry DOES care about winning.

He's trying to emulate the 90s Cowboys, in an era where he should be trying copy the 21st century Patriots.

He's content in creating a lasting dynasty with his family (stadium, brand, continuing the $ flow despite record in the long run as he was able to create/maintain for 23 years using this model). This is more where he seems then trying not to actively win but the results have been the same in the end.

With Dak's rookie contract, this is the time to be aggressive and we signed Carroll, Paea, Blanton etc.? Luckily Lewis looks like a starter here out and Awuzie looks capable/confident with Woods flashing so could really help next season. Nothing of this speaks of "Win Now" but instead resting on your laurels. The one thing I love about JJ as an owner is that he truly shows compassion and really loves his players like a pseudo father figure/mentor. It's a crap trait to have as a GM but shows he's not a rich jack off.
