Jerry doesn't regret not waiting on Prescott's contract

To Jerry:

I can't wait until a Josh Allen gets his new contract, just to remove "the highest paid" cloud. This topic has consumed our fanbase and completely blinded the truth about dysfunction, beyond QB salary.

We have the only GM that can't get fired......we have the oldest GM in the league......our Owner/GM has a radio show.........let that sink in.

My question is whether the 1053TheFan hosts ask the more important question? They should ask for Jerry Jones' 'insight' (lmbo) for why he waited SO LONG to sign Dak Prescott AND CeeDee Lamb.

Asking someone like Jones about regret, concerning significant judgment decisions like this, will always net you two answers. Either:
  1. "No." In other words, denial. Or
  2. 'Yes blah blah blah' a.k.a. deflection, which will not be demonstrated in his future decision-making--because he never believed the words that escaped his mouth.

Isn't kid #1 Jerry, Jr.? For some reason, I thought he's older than Stephen....although Stephen looks older than his age!!
The birth order is Stephen (June 21, 1964), Charlotte (July 26, 1966) and Jerry Jr. (September 27, 1969).

I would like to hear about the analysis that went into re-signing Dak and what comparisons were made to instead going after other FA QBs.
I think the analysis was “what if we let Dak walk and he has success? Oh no better resign him on the 1% chance he turns out to be good.”

Also, not resigning Dak should have nothing to do with Rush’s play this year and instead to do with Dak’s play this year.

Has nothing to do with being highest paid. The output vs cost doesn't make any sense.

He's an idiot. And if you had any questions about that up until this point, this should solidify it.

If you were just going to make him one the highest paid QB in terms of AAV, there was no reason to wait. I'd buy the argument if you waited and you got Dak to eventually cave a bit and he took less but he didn't. You made him the highest AAV in league history.

If you signed him early you could have had a bit more cap space to maybe bring in a Derrick Henry or a playmaking DT.

This franchise is done. Just done. Every time Jerry opens his mouth and talks it pretty much solidifies the reality that this franchise isn't winning anything as long as he is alive and frankly, might not with his son who appears to be as a big a fool as his dad.
