The smart play is to support your head coach. If he turns things around you look good, and if he doesnt you fire the guy and move on.

Everyone wants garret fired right now, but is interim HC rod marinelli going to lead this team to the super bowl?

"Weeden throws prettiest balls."

"Aikman looks good in the showers."

Something about circumcising a mosquito

The real question is do we have a better chance with JG at this point?

He can say Garrett Sucks!!

Well, if he says that then he will have to say he's fired...since that would be the logical conclusion of he sucks. Unfortunately we are not that lucky for that to happen.

Jerry has hit the bottle too many times over the years but the stupidest thing he has ever said was that JG has become a top tier coach. He is projecting what he wants to happen and is oblivious to what is happening on this team. Jerry....you are just wrong! JG would not be a hot commodity and he is the reason that we have been mediocre for the past decade. You will see this eventually and will wish you listened to your fan base. Please don't waste a whole generation of Cowboys players again.
What is suppose to say? Garrett is gone unless we somehow win the SB. Is he suppose to say "Garrett is crap"? He is NOT going to fire Garrett mid season and wants his players to play hard for the HC. JJ admitting that Garrett sucks will just tell the players "ya, it's OK to suck and not try and win". It woulld be like telling your kids that one of the siblings is stupid and worthless. JJ said what was needed to be said, who's the idiot?

That's probably just your attempt at reading my post. I assume you're having to reread a lot so you can really understand what I said. Judging by your quotation of what I said, you're not quite getting it. I suggest taking another look.

"Put him in a position to succeed."

Built a talented roster to have around him. Changed the offense to accommodate his style. Game planned each game (even the wins). You know, things coaches do.

In the same way coaches do. You know what coaches do... right?

Garrett doesnt roster build here buddy. If you dont even know that, then there is no sense even continuing the conversation.

I know what REAL coaches do. The problem is Garrett doesnt do them.

And tailoring an offense to suit Dak is a big when he never did.

That's a fair question that I dont have answer to. But until you make the move you publicly support the HC. If the owner doesnt support the HC why would the players?

Put Garrett on the hotseat. Stop making it easy for Garrett to being incompetent and being a moron on the sidelines.

Apparently some think you'll get better results if you baby him. Pretend everything's OK. The team will play inspired football that way. LOL

He is not supposed to say anything. He is the owner of the team and self appointed GM.

He should stay off the damn radio and let the football people handle football operations.

There is zero reason for Jerry Jones to be on the radio, there is zero benefit to the football team from Jerry Jones talking on the radio.

It only benefits him and keeps him in the news cycle.
He is the OWNER of the Cowboys, why should he not say anything?...when you have JJ's $$$ then you should keep quiet too!

Do you REALLY thing JG gives us our best chance to succeed? I don't! I've been a fan for the past 40+ years and I'm just freaking tired of this. Jerry has over played his hand and he doesn't get it

Remember WAY back when Wade was fired? Garrett came in and went 5-3! You want the same thing to happen? I dont! Play out the season, get rid of the whole coaching staff and start from scratch!
