Start off with the your currently awful living situation and the heat in Rockport has become more terrible because, of course, your AC just went out and now you're reliving all of the "stunned, startled, aghast, taken aback, stupefied, confused, shocked, rattled, paralyzed, dazed, bewildered, mixed up, surprised, awed, dumbfounded, nonplussed, flabbergasted, astounded, amazed, confounded, astonished, overwhelmed, horrified, numbed, speechless, and perplexed" moments you had to travail to get to this miserable moment.

lol...thank you, actually for the last several evenings we have been working on a tune (no name yet) but it is in the Dorian Minor Mode, perfect for the blues with the notes G,A,B,G,D,E,F# back to G. I have to keep getting after my drummer and base player to keep the beat, after all they are the heart beat of any band.

Not to derail the thread any further, but I have been happily learning the blues harmonica lately.
I have one in the Key of C and a bass harmonica in the key of G.
Learning off of YT, lol.

Ive worked in higher ed literally almost 40 years trust me Ive gotten more from the school of hard knocks than anything ive seen on campus and Im sure your not stupid. Youre a vet and a musician and those 2 are great in my book. Now to get back on topic if jerry would have gotten a Derrick henry type FA signing this past summer I think many of us would feel a bit more confident but ill give this group a chance.

What's sad is JJ thinks this is a flex (even though it's not factual) when nothing has been won or even close to being won for 25+ yrs.
