Shan, RJ, and Bobby are sick of it all and I'm so glad the bought Dallas media finally made an attempt to hold Jerry's feet to the fire.

Jerry getting personal with them for asking questions on behalf of the fans and listeners is disgusting and pathetic. But Jerry will ultimately "win" this exchange in his mind, because it's all the national media is going to talk about during the bye week.
Thanks. Took me 3 pages to figure out which hosts asked the question.

I remember a few months to a year ago where Shan was insinuating that the coverage is soft because of Jerry.

Good for them kicking this geezer in the nuts wihh to reality

Why would I defend it? I'm glad he is mad. He should have gotten D. Henry. I think it's good that Jerry is mad.
So you think it is ok to be mad and threaten someone's method of providing for their family?

You really have no shame do you? This team is a disaster. And you condoned this FO sitting out of free agency and did your little "lol" when anyone brought up they lost too many starters and wouldnt be good.

You deserve Jerry.

Now he surely can't hire a real GM or else the media will say, "see, told ya!"

Until he calls the owner of the radio station and says he will take away Cowboys access as long as those guys work there.

Guys like him do that kinda stuff .... he has had reporters fired before.
If these guys get canned for asking a question legitimately then everyone should boycott that station

Good! I hope more people in the Dallas media start hammering more at him! He needs to know that we don't like what he's built. We don't like the culture he's created. We want to win!
There's still an Army of local media apologists for the Cowboys, and the their owner, and the Coach, and their Star QB...

Maybe I missed it but is there still no public apology? Jerry publicly threatens a mans ability to support his family for literally doing his job, just not in a way that strokes Jerry's ego and the PR team isnt all over this right away?

"This is not your job. Your job isn't to let me go over all the reasons that I did something and I'm sorry that I did it. That's not your job. I'll get somebody else to ask these questions. I'm not kidding. You're not going to figure it out what the team is doing right or wrong. If you are, or any five or 10 like you, you need to come to this (NFL) meeting I'm going to today with 32 teams here, you're geniuses.

"You really think you're gonna sit here with a microphone and tell me all of the things that I've done wrong without going over the rights? Listen, we both know we're talking to a lot of great fans, a lot of great listeners. And I'm very sorry for what happened out there Sunday. I'm sick about what happened Sunday. "...

One of the stupidest things I've ever done, that anybody had ever analyzed was buy the Cowboys. It was an idiot that did that. So idiot things can turn into good decisions. Smart things can turn into bad decisions. The facts are when you make one, you don't really know if it's going to be good or not at the time. You want some conversation this morning, you're getting it."

The biggest falsehood Jerry tells about the purchase of the Cowboys is that they were losing money and broke. That is not true. Because of the Savings and loan crisis, Bum Bright had to sell the only thing he had that was profitable. The other assets involved in Bum Brights purchase was the problem. The Dallas Cowboys have made profit every year it existed that is why the Federal Government (FDIC) accepted it as collateral at only 12 percent. You do not take a percentage of a losing business, you sell of assets. The FDIC forecloses on 100% of a losing asset. After Jerry bought the Cowboys Feb. 1989, Jerry was able to take funds from a losing team and pay off the FDIC the very next year March 1990 ($5M). If the Cowboys was such a bad deal, why every suitor that Tex brought to Bum Bright wanted to buy the team. Jerry accepted more of Bright's bad debt and the agreement to fire Landry.

The only person that said it was a bad deal to buy the Cowboys in 1989 was a New York business man and TV cult of personality that went bankrupt 4 times.

YOU CANNOT LOSE MONEY OWNING A NFL TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does your company have a salary cap? Does your company have 10 year guaranteed revenue? Does you company get paid by the US Military to market at your job? Does your company receive tax credits for your office space and then you get to use your office to rent out and sell seats and rooms in our office into perpetuity? Does your company get to sell low cost food at premium prices to its employees and customers telling them they cannot bring their own food to the office or leave the office to eat? Was your company tax exempt from 1942 to 2015?

Get real Jerry. It was stupid for someone not to buy the Dallas Cowboys that were the no.1 sport franchise in the US even in 1989.

I thought there would be something by now, he crossed the line and still managed to look dumb, basically threatened to fire people who dont even work for him.

And that's why I'm saying it's time we as a fan base join together and even with them, demand more.

Cowboys fans are soft.

Part of the reason people in the media call us disgusting. The team is soft in part because we have been soft as fans. Maybe it's time we as fans learn from Eagles fans and toughen up. Maybe it's time we become Jerry's worst nightmare as fans until we get a tough competitive team. Maybe it's time we, instead of quitting on the team, say no. We aren't quitting, Jerry's quitting or giving us better.

Like Jerry said during the interview, he can’t go out and get a bunch of new players this time of year so he’s going to continue to spin he likes his personnel. Glad to see all the criticism he’s been receiving is starting to get to him.

Yeah. The time to get those players was in March. But he used Dak and Lamb to his advantage to not bring anyone in. Then paid them record setting contracts that he could have paid them in March and brought in a difference maker on either side of the ball.

Then had the cojones to tell the fan base they couldnt afford Henry.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone tries to insult my intelligence. And he does it countless times.
