Thank you very much for posting this. I love examining people through their words and actions. This might be the best video I have watched this year. By far.
I have not read the entire thread but Jerry Jones' flare up really begins at the
11:07 mark of the video. Just in case there are members who do not wish to listen to the entire 23 -minute audio. Getting away from his flare up, I will post about something that illustrates two things heard between the 9:18 - 11:07 marks: 1) Jones' philosophy on his head coach and 2) his mental acquity.
First, some media members and fans will always take their opinion of what Jones should do but will totally ignore or disregard what Jones will likely do. He reinforces his thinking in regards to firing a head coach in-season. Anything is possible but Jones has never really deviated from the explanation he gives in the video. That's Jerry Jones, whether anyone likes it or not.
Secondly, isolate and really listen to him during that nearly two-minute segment. He demonstrates strong mental acuity. Memory recall. Interconnected thought construction and presentation.
Just pointing this out for anyone reading this, who says he is senile or has dementia. Being cantankerous or ornery or slightly forgetful or etc., is not necessarily signs of senility or dementia. It would be nice if more people reflected on this. There is nothing wrong with calling him a GM idiot or that he is football ignorant. Idiocy and stupidity are not signs of senility or dementia.
/rant from one of millions of people who have actually dealt with loved ones living and/or died from real life, no joke, dementia
