Lol and there you go. He got paid, you think getting blamed bothers him?
Why do you try and turn every discussion into an Dak argument? This isn’t a Dak thread. If you don’t think he cares about winning your lost! He started off as a 4th round pick for crying out loud. He didn’t come here with any fanfare. What bothers him is the team not winning consistently. This thread is about Jerry try sticking with the topic.

We've seen this before, in a sense.

Just look up Dale Hansen's interview with Switzer, who said to Hansen "You don't know what you're talking about Dale Hansen".

As if being an actual football owner or coach is the ONLY way to be a knowledgeable NFL person...

Crowd needs to Boo him out of his own building and stop asking for autographs ........ I wish they would throw trash at him.
Did you see the clip of Jerry walking in the stadium bowels after this last game? Somebody (probably a shill for Jerry) was yelling something like "We got you Jerry!".

LOL

I knew this would eventually spiral out of control, just not this soon.

Jerry logic: since I was able to buy the Cowboys that must mean I’m able to put a winning team on the field.

If I went and bought a hospital it doesn’t make me a surgeon.
That’s the wildcatter syndrome. He hit a gusher once so the hole drilled will be, too. Never mind the 20 drilled since have been dry holes.

Plus, how Jerry operated immediately upon buying the Cowboys is diametrically opposite of how he operates now. He’s always craved the limelight, even then. It’s was a contributing factor in the Jimmy divorce.

This is MUCH WORSE

he directly threatened the job of someone he controls

Won't happen, but wouldn't it be wonderful if Goodell called Jerry on the carpet, publicly, for threatening a radio host?

I'd love that...

This is chilling. What Jones is saying is he will have the host fired or the station will lose its ability to talk to him or any other Cowboys person.

The Commish needs to step in....
I really agree....I think a lot of people are not understanding how serious this is. I'm not sure how much the NFL can actually do, but this is way over the line, and if Jerry is willing to do this publicly I can only imagine what happens behind the scenes.

Because you absolve him of blame. A lot of these players worked hard to get where they are at. How you have the nerve to say they dont care about winning, but Dak does?

to be fair that was a little diferent, I'll go out on a limb and say Barry did have alot of football knowledge..he also didnt want the job he told Jerry and Jimmy they were both dumb for not making up and moving past this ego fight..still says they ruined a great thing over nothing. And i'm not even a big Barry fan because other than the comedy i really cant stand it when he talks..

he doesnt control them they dont work for him they work for odysee they wont be getting fired, if they do odysee has real problem in court...it was a disgusting show of "Im powerful and your a peon" though, hopefully the media tears him up for it.

Wouldn’t it be great if this old, out of touch billionaire got angry at the real problems by looking in the mirror, holding himself and his entitled children accountable and made REAL changes?

He won’t of course because he is the worst kind of leader: A man incapable of admitting mistakes or having the humility to acknowledge that his time is up. There isn’t a team in professional sports that would hire this man as their GM. If he REALLY CARED about the team, he would step down. He cares more about himself.

Apparently he has forgotten…Father Time and Karma are undefeated. And no amount of money can stop that. Unless he changes something, this is going to get worse before it gets better. You know what they say about Karma…
Like someone here posted a day or two ago, what if somebody asked Jerry if he realized his legacy now, if he never wins another SB, would be of a senile old man whose ego ruined a once great football team.

I'd not want to see that, much as I want Jerry to hire a gm or sell the team, it's just sad...

I was given access to the Miller Light Club for a game last year as a STH appreciation gift. If you’re not familiar with it, the team transits the Club going to and from the field. I was amazed at the response when Jerry came through. Fans were jockeying to get close enough to get an autograph and chanting “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry”. Casual fans are mesmerized by the celebrity. It’s the same throughout society for “celebrity.”

Jerry has taken away all my passion as a fan of the Cowboys. No turning back until his Family are out of the picture. They will still be my team, but my rooting interest borderline casual fan.

I didn’t absolve him of the blame. You might want to look around the board at some of my posts. If you continue trying to turn this into a Dak thread, I’ll report it.

One of the signs of dementia is anger at being asked questions that the person doesn't like.

Possibly we're seeing the initial signs of the end of Jerry Jones being in charge of the Cowboys.

Not that I'd like that, wouldn't wish dementia on anyone, have had family members with it and it's not pretty...
