that stadium had more Lions fans in it..also they cover every major sport here and are the flagship for the Rangers who just won a world series....I get that most here think Dallas lives and dies at Jerry's whim but I'm telling you 105.3 would be just fine if Jerry pulled his "Flagship" today...its not like they have to stop talking about the Cowboys they just dont have to have Jerry on every week...alot of listerners would start listening when that happens. The team hasn’t played well when it matters most and whether you want to admit it or not, it’s had an affect on his play. I can’t think of one game where we played real well as a team and we lost because he had a bad game or made a critical mistake with the game on the line. When we play well as a team he plays well. Patrick Mahomes played like crap against the Bucs in the Super Bowl a few years ago because the team around him didn’t play well. The entire game got thrown on him and he had a bad game. When you’re being outclassed and bullied no QB is going to save you.

In the interview, Jerry basically admitted, that if you were to go over all of the mistakes and bad decisions Jerry had made, that it would take 5 years to go over all of them.

So Jerry is saying, there's so many mistakes and bad decisions, let's not bother taking up time to go over them...

OK, thanks for that. I wasn't trying to defend him, just interpret what he said objectively. Most are outraged by it, but I have become numb to it all. I chose not to watch any of the Detroit game until I found out the score, and after finding out the score, I'm choosing not to watch it at all, which is not something I have done very often in my nearly 50 years of fanship. I haven't even read too many threads on here this week because I'm just tired of what Jerry and Stephen have done to our once great team.

Ok. So Dak has nothing to do with personnel or the ability to assemble a team? That was basically Jones' argument - including that Dak isn't that good - for taking less money. And when Dak stinks and doesn't uplift the team, those comments are going to creep into the roster discussion.

But no one is forcing you to read or respond to those posts. This is a solution in search of a problem. Seems to me you want conformity of thought and since you can't mandate it, you shame others into it and if that doesn't work you make a not-so-veiled appeal to the mods to rescue you. If that's your approach, it's pathetic.

If I jump on a thread where are talking about the roster and I say, "Man, we have such a great QB. He's leading the league in xyz category. I believe he'd be better if we got him more help..." - would that be "hijacking"? I bet not. But if I say, "The man sucks and we are better off not investing another dime into a roster led by #4..." - you weep and gnash your teeth.
