Wouldn't exactly refer to Gregory as a shiny new toy. He's one of those toys you were excited about when you first got it but it ended up not being as much fun as you thought.
Kinda like a new car that's been in the shop since you bought it. You finally get to take it for a spin and hope it doesn't break down again

Jerry is the man of many talents and occupations. Owner of a football team, businessman, coach, Doctor, the list is endless for what this guy is capable. He is definitely a Renaissance Man.

So what's the deal with the supposed new failed drug test? Is that something to unfortunately look forward to or is it still just a rumor?

All you can hope for is that Gregory isn't a liability when he's on the field. Especially if they run at him. Sean Lee will certainly have to be aware and back him up if that happens.

No one seems to know for sure. Rumor is he missed a drug test, which in the eyes of the NFL rules is apparently the same as failing a test. Maybe he had a good reason to miss the test and as such that's part of his appeal?

The part of - He missed the test because he was in rehab......that's the take I've heard from multiple sources

It doesn't matter what you, or the players, don't like about some of the rules. They agreed when they signed their multi-million dollar contracts that they would abide by them. Last I heard, playing in the NFL is still a privilege, & not a right.

Thank you. :clap:I get tired of all this moaning about the unfairness of the NFL's weed policy like the NFL snuck it in its rule book unbeknownst to players.

Weed is illegal in the NFL. It has been for the longest time. The NFL has not changed its policy. Until it does, players must stay off weed or learn how to beat the system.

If they don't, they only have themselves to blame.

Now, go smoke some offensive linemen and quarterbacks, Gregory.

Yep. The end result of ignorant people writing the rules ignorantly.

Gregory lights the world on fire providing situational outside pass rush down the stretch. We end up facing the Giants in the divisional round, Mara has a nice late night dinner with Goodell on that Monday, the appeal is ruled upon on that Wednesday and he's suspended again.

It will happen before that. I'd be excited if not for the specter of another suspension. Not so much because he'll be gone for a year sooner rather than later. Damn shame.

Gregory has been like one of those rockets you buy at the fireworks stand, that you couldn't wait to get home and launch. When you set it up on your driveway and lit the fuse it started to sputter, hiss, smoke and spin around with sparks flying all over the place, never leaving the ground and you realized it was a dud.

I wish I could get excited as all of you about getting a zero sack pothead back. The Cowboys are getting a JAG back. Not a pro bowler.
Has Jerry made an more coaching decisions on who's playing this week?

This is good. Very good.
Too many fans can't put their biases aside......they hated the pick, they hated the suspensions so they root for failure.......I hated the DMC saga but I wanted him to score on that goal line carry on Sunday

RGregroy can only help...he doesn't have to be better than DLawrence, only better than ZMoore or RDavis

But then you hide that toy... then when you bring it out again.... it's like...OH, NEW TOY!

Lol
