It doesn't matter what you, or the players, don't like about some of the rules. They agreed when they signed their multi-million dollar contracts that they would abide by them. Last I heard, playing in the NFL is still a privilege, & not a right.

A man has a right to earn a living. I guess he could go play in the CFL, where they don't care about the Mary Jane--but he'd be taking a big salary cut.

Gregory has been like one of those rockets you buy at the fireworks stand, that you couldn't wait to get home and launch. When you set it up on your driveway and lit the fuse it started to sputter, hiss, smoke and spin around with sparks flying all over the place, never leaving the ground and you realized it was a dud.
I thought this analogy was going to go the JPP route: it blows up in your hands

Jerry is the man of many talents and occupations. Owner of a football team, businessman, coach, Doctor, the list is endless for what this guy is capable. He is definitely a Renaissance Man.
No, he just has a lot of hats.

Not a one of 'em is a flex fit.

All you can hope for is that Gregory isn't a liability when he's on the field. Especially if they run at him. Sean Lee will certainly have to be aware and back him up if that happens.
That's my concern. It's all well and good if he plays well, but what happens if he is a liability? He hasn't played in forever.

But then you hide that toy... then when you bring it out again.... it's like...OH, NEW TOY!

Lol

You bring it back out and find out it's still isn't any fun. You realize why you stopped playing with it in the first place.

No one seems to know for sure. Rumor is he missed a drug test, which in the eyes of the NFL rules is apparently the same as failing a test. Maybe he had a good reason to miss the test and as such that's part of his appeal?

I think it's been said he was in rehab when he missed the test. I hope this is the case and hope it's a legitimate excuse. I would like to think so.

Gregory may be a "JAG" right now, however, I'd much rather have a Randy Gregory on the field instead of a Zach Moore or a Ryan Davis who were getting snaps the past few weeks.

Cowboys DL is better with him on the roster than him not. I'm not fooling myself to expect huge impact, but he's a another solid depth player to add to the rotation with the ability to pass rush. This will be a positive impact for however long he's allowed to play.

Too many fans can't put their biases aside......they hated the pick, they hated the suspensions so they root for failure.......I hated the DMC saga but I wanted him to score on that goal line carry on Sunday

RGregroy can only help...he doesn't have to be better than DLawrence, only better than ZMoore or RDavis
I agree here. What can he hurt? 5 to 10 snaps. Bring it on.

When has Gregory ever made an impact in the 30 games so far? Never. He has been injured and suspended for almost the whole time.

Why even waste time giving him practice reps at this stage? I guess the Cowboys might like to give him a taste of playing time so he can get on the straight and narrow path and turn his life around. I doubt he can stay clean. So, until the NFL allows drug use, I think Gregory's days in the NFL are over.
