This situation different from many in that MM isn’t under contract. So Jerry can’t simply announce that he’s bringing him back. But, if he didn’t want him back, I’m pretty sure he would have announced that already.

Since it’s a mutual decision anything can still happen, but I have to think that they are in negotiations to bring MM back.

Jerry may have wanted MM back, but he was taking the temprature of the fan base, and I think MM is done. he can't deal with the clown show at GM and Owner. But Jerry will spin it as if he didn't want MM. people in NFL circles know

Agree. I truly don’t care if he returns or not, but I’d probably rather he didn’t. First, I’d like to see someone tell Jerry to stick it, and Mike is probably good enough to keep this team in its perpetual mediocrity, which none of us ought to want.

We need this to blow up in Jerry’s face and eventually get into a Parcells situation. That’s the best we can hope for. Getting anywhere near a SB the way things currently are isn’t happening.
