Jerry hinting that he is trading for a linebacker

Would be more wise to hold the trade assets and go heavy defense in the draft. Limited pie and all...unless he plans on going all-in.

That is not much of a hint at all, IMO. Jerry says nonsense all the time, and this feels like one of those things he says that's supposed to mean something else.

BTW why didn't we even try to get Bobby Wagner 2 years ago? Dude lead the Rams in tackles in 2022, In 2023 he lead the NFL in tackles and made named 2nd team All pro and the commanders were able to sign him to a 1 year deal in 2024. He has been a starter every since. A high level starter at 35 years of age.

Dude has been a beast for the commanders.
Why spend more when we were dragging around LVE in 2022?
Who cares if Wagner was better, he cost more, mang.

Which LB out there is close to being a cripple?
Leg, neck, back injury?

As long as the trade includes Mazi, and no picks in the first 3 rnds, go for it

He costed more than a six-pack and a footlong from Subway.

these guys on 105.3 that interview Jerry are absolutely petrified of him. It's borderline embarrassing.
I can only imagine that job.

Oh Jerry wants to talk now after that small silence from the Panthers loss.

They must be counting down the days.

It came out just last year, I believe, that Quinn wanted him in I think 2023 but the Joneses didn't because they preferred LVE. Unbelievable.

But no, it's totally believable because that's how much they always love their own.

You don't know how to read Jerry do you? I literally read that and immediately he thinks that Matt's gonna fix the defense in house with what we have I just manipulating the depth chart sitting some starting others changing snap counts I don't feel like that he's bringing in a linebacker that didn't sound like what I heard he just hopes Matt gets it on track and has it going pretty well to where overshone can make a difference when he gets back..

I don't hate investing in a LB, because ours are maybe the worst I've ever seen. But please don't spend picks trying to save a lost season.
If it is a long-term piece, I am fine with such a move, just not another Murray type.

Why would we trade for a RB, especially one similar to what we already have? And a 29 year old LB who is a URFA in the off-season?
Because Bell doesn't look ready yet and we lost Sanders and thats how these trades happen. Teams are less likely to give up a player that has 4 years left on their rookie contract. Trade for him then sign him. We don't need the RB as much as a linebacker so I'd be ok with just Quincy. Not gonna be a much better trade option as well.
