So you are blaming your parents for your addiction? But hey, at least MountainCowgirl knows what you mean.

Having seen my buddy go thru it and having gone with him to hear speakers (N.A.) get up and tell there version and when they knew they hit rock bottom and needed help. Yes and some said their parents enabled them. Yes been going with him for years to hear different speakers come in from all over the USA to tell there version. Yes it’s their problem but parents can be an enabler. Instead of telling the person you better get help in order to live here, they say nothing. My buddy has been clean for over 35 years now but it’s one day at a time.

No doubt thise parents didnt help. But until you take responsibility for your own actions, you will never get better.

Hopkins has been unlikely because we have Lamb and Cooks...

And, if he's back to form, Gallup. I think Hopkins is a legitimate pass. It'd be fun, but, between what we have now at WR and at TE, I'm not sure WR is a top priority. Not to mention we have intriguing prospects at UDFA. For example, I'm intrigued by Moreno-Cropper.

Oh there it is….

I was just telling my friend, you know, think we’re learning something here. We’ve had a good offseason.

Welp there it is. Return of Zeke. We don’t deserve nice things

Pollard getting the lion’s share of the touches with Zeke as a short yardage specialist (at a steeply reduced salary) and Deuce sprinkled into the mix is a scenario I could roll with.
Who are you and what have you done with CalPoly

How is Hopkins going to put them over the top? Another expensive receiving weapon isnt what they need. A better Oline is what they need. A better running game is what they need. Blocking and running. Hopkins does NOTHING to solve that problem.
They don’t need a better running game because the running game is not important in modern NFL football. It’s a complement to take a bit of pressure of the passing game at times, and also, to utilize the passing game for big gains on the ground when the opposing defense is otherwise distracted. The passing game drives the offense period. So yeah, the Cowboys need another pass catcher to play with the big boys. As I said, improving their oline would help as well. But I think the oline is good enough. I don’t think the talent in the passing game is good enough in todays NFL. Hopkins could put that over the top.

Why not sign him to a one year contract to do the dirty work?

Last season he tied Derrick Henry for 1st place in TD's from 2 yards out or less with 7.

Only one other RB in the NFL made more 1st downs on 2nd,3rd,or 4th down with 2 yards or less.

Let's be honest. His specialty at this point is the only thing missing from what the Cowboys need at the RB position.

If he was anybody else, most fans would be clamoring for him.

So we basically don't want the guy who is at the top of his position, but we want the guy who no one else wants. Sounds like a recipe for success.

One of those players will cost money, the other comes cheap. That's all Jerry needs to know.
Not sure I understand. Do the Cowboys not get close to the cap every year?

They’re paying. They just don’t always go for the big flashy signing.

Not long ago, most of us were begging for the team to not sign OBJ. I’m assuming that was a move you would have made? It’s basically the same thing as Hopkins.

...welp, there you have it. I guess Zeke, Deuss, TP tandem for 23'. I cant wait.... ;)..
If we sign Zeke, I may have to join the other side. And I'd really, really hate to do that. Because I despise haters. But that's going to be an option if we sign Zeke and ****** the team's progress.

If one of our backs gets injured, I would consider it. But we've got enough backs. I would even try to bring Shampklin back, before Zeke. He can pass block.
