Jerry: I feel very good about roster but would like to have more OL depth

of all the freaking things to admit to after an entire off-season has gone by and he's done nothing,,, like he's got no control over it. Contender rosters like this with closing windows are the ones you go "all-in" on, not sit there like an idiot lamenting that you didn't even try to fix it.
Lol, If you think they did nothing.

Martin and Steele were already on the roster so they really didn't sign 2 veterans per se. As for the rookies, they added a UDFA and drafted a 5th round OT....not exactly adding OL talent by way of a 1st thru 3rd round pick.
They did add two veterans. A guard and a guard/center. Chuma and the guy they got from the Giants. Bass and Richards are looking good so far.

Sorry all wanting blood letting crowd. I'm a fan first and not part of lynch mobs. I don't care how much booze and panic goes down stream.

I'm not sure which would be worse for a GM: not thinking you need more OL depth while looking at our roster or knowing that you do and doing almost nothing about it all offseason...
How did they almost nothing?

That group needs opportunity and time on the carpet to grow. I don't count talent as missing until pancake blocks start appearing in games, myself. Good point to this fan. I like players in Cowboy uniforms. I love good play, but don't exist on hero worship instead. Cowboys have been their share of great.

So you're idea of going all in is what? Cause it sounds like you think it means trading away draft 1-3 round capital ( we have no 4,5 or 6 currently) for a back up OL.

They decided to go young with upside with the backups.

I like the players so I’m not complaining, but you’d think a win-now team would want veteran backups on the OL over younger guys.

Then again, Tyron could be done at any moment, Biadasz may price his way out, etc.

There’s no easy answer other than hoping for health. And like Jerry said….there’s no team that can’t say that.

That's quite the unreasoned leap to reach an unreasonable conclusion,,, player trades and free agency are more reasonable options not to mention they could have addressed in the last draft too.

OL Depth is an issue around the league, not just with the Cowboys. Most teams either have green prospects or washed up veterans behind the starters.

The stressful part with this OL is they are very top heavy.

Tyron, Tyler, Biadasz, Martin, Steele.

But with Tyler Smith banged up and Tyrons history we could be down to Asim Richards and TJ Bass playing serious snaps on Sunday.

Still unsure why a guy like Jason Peters or Justin Pugh wouldn’t have been called in yet.

This is why getting a guy like O’Cyrus Torrence wouldve been massive.
Torrance isnt really a good fit and was a bit overrated. He would play LG here and would have a real problem with quicker 3t's. He is probably an RG only in the NFL. If they wanted OL in round 2 they should have moved up to take the guy they were debating in the first, Bergeron
