Whatever he was trying to say, he's obviously not fit for the job, much less a meaningful conversation. It's been that way for several years now. The King has no clothes on.
Yeah, you have to take everything he says with a grain of salt.

In this day and age of trying to become a viral video or interview, I'm shocked no reporter, who isn't directly hired or have connections to Jerry, hasn't just flat out directly asked him the question (unless I missed it) about his team's lack of success in the last 20+ years without a true GM like when Jimmy was there and see him flail in the wind or just incinerate on the spot.

I think this simply shows the depth of Jerry's optimism. For a man who doesn't like to deal in "hypotheticals", he sure engages in a lot of wishful thinking.

no, that's not optimism. that's Jerry worried about home attendance.

guarantee you, one more game like this and more booing, Lance is going to start. it will bring fans in for at least a couple of games before they all realize he is even worse thant Rush Trash

Yeah, hold my beer. Jerry ends up w/ the 1st pick in the draft, ignores Beck and Ewers and Gabriel and goes w/ Bustwaitingtohappen Sanders and then cannot comprehend why we're still losing.
He ends up with the first pick his face will be on all night trading down and end up picking up a Mazi or Taco he isn’t picking a QB
